Magustajake, a very trustworthy and dedicated fan and long time IDF poster met Katharine today at the Sexy Hair show in Chicago. She has an album release planned for December though no more information about it. And she is building a school in Africa.


I believe magustajake 100% on this. He will be giving a more detailed report tomorrow.

WOW!That's great news.....New CD in December and probably House Bunny(name changed back recently) will be out on dvd around that time."08...another year of the Kat!
Jake also mentioned that Kat was given a $10,000 check for her school project.Move over Oprah!
Do you guys think Kat might be invited to the Idols Give Back Show to discuss this new venture?...and to sing Real Love!

building a school in Africa... a benevolent and philantrophic gesture indeed...very noble

2:15 pm -- Okay we are waiting for her to come out there are like thousands of people. i don't think I'll get to meet her but its cool to be here.

2:50 pm -- Oh my god!

2:54 pm -- I have the story to top all stories!

3:13 pm -- I met her omg. I'll save that story for later it was amazing. Ok start a new thread and tell them...

3:15 pm -- New album in december. Also, she was given a check for 10000 dollars. She is involved with a new charity and she is building a school in africa!

3:16 pm -- I recorded that part where they talked about her upcoming projects.

3:30 pm -- We're still at the event. The blonde lady from the charity video we saw said I could stop by the stand and say hi again but it was crazy over there.

In that Pheenomenon's second pic, that guy must have been singing and dancing to a disco tune while spraying Kat's hair... . He would fit right in with the Village People.

When I last got my hair cut, Great Clips had a Big Sexy Hair display with Kat on it at the front desk, so the product is getting broader exposure.

That $10,000 check to an African school must be a tie-in to the Idol Gives Back school.

This is great news. I hope we hear something concrete soon. I trust Jake completely, he is one of Kat's greatest fans and I am so thrilled he got the chance to meet her. I just hope this isn't a PR person from Sexy Hair just being "creative" promotionally as PR reps are known to do. I hope we hear some concrete news about label, recording has begun or is about to and a few other particulars. We should know tomorrow from Jake if an announcer said all this or if Kat did or was she on stage etc to get a bit more confirmation. BTW he drove 7 hours to see her today!

 What would be the point of that? Does it make Sexy Hair seem sexier if their spokesmodel has an album coming out? If this turns out to be some windbag blowing smoke...well, just nevermind...

It's great that there is going to be another album in December, I'm very excited but at the same time a little disappointed. We have to wait until December! Before it was said that she was going to the recording studio again by January of this year. Now obviously the wedding got in the way and changed that a bit but doesn't anybody find it odd that since the wedding, we haven't even heard of what Kat's future plans are for this year? And if it is by December does this mean the release of the album or the recording of it. If its only the recording then we're not going to get another album until a few months into 2009. This worries me because what is Kat doing this year? So far it seems this year is taking a break from the music and focusing on the movies, which is all good but leaves the fansites and forums very slow because there's no exciting news to report (as of late). I don't know, to me 2008 seems like it's going to be a slow year for Katharine. I hope I'm wrong but that's what it seems like so far.

BtW, Congrats on Meeting Kat, Jake, I'm very happy for you and thanks for getting us some information.
