If you encounter website problems, error pages or anything of the sort, please report them here. I am testing the new DotNetNuke 4.0 release and it seems to have a lot of bugs.

ah, the signature prob won't use the filter [IMG][/IMG}. You will have to use HTML.

< table>< tr>< td>Thanks to Ladyerin from idolforums.com for the beautiful blend!< /td>< /tr>< tr>< td>< img src="http://www.katharinefans.com/Portals/5/Blends/katharinefansblend.jpg">< /img>< /td>< /tr>< /table>

Take out the spaces after the < . Put in your own data.

Thanks for the question!

Yeah, I get A LOT of errors. I'll start taking screens or something and posting them so you can see them for yourself.

Hahaha, I got one right after I posted that. I had to refresh just to see if my post went through or not. You should find a different program/service for the forums or something.

The column labeled "Author" likes to be empty as well. Lol. Like, more than half the time, nothing shows up for anybody in that column. Not their name, avatar, rank, location...nothing...

Oh yes, why do the font size keep changing? Sometimes small (like this post) and somtimes large (like your post above)?

After I login again, the font size changed back to large, but now I can't edit my own post. Well... I give up!

Hmm. I have never had that problem. What browser are you using? If sometimes you can see a post that has a large font, and if you look at the same post and it is a small font, it is most likely the browser changing. This sometimes happens if you hold down shift and move the mouse wheel. As for not being able to edit your post, I fixed that this morning. It was driving me nuts. Thanks for posting and keep me up to date on other errors you see. I am looking into another forum module as we speak.

I almost never see the information on the left where it says you username and posts and everything. Is anyone else having this problem? It might just be my computer.

I have talked to the forum developer and it is possible that the framework that the website is built on has some "caching problems". The next version of the framework should be released soon, and will fix the problems you are having. Hopefully it isn't too much to overcome and yall will continue to chat about Katharine .

Chad, do you hear anything from the site developer regarding the updates? I think it's getting worse recently. Maybe because we have more visitors logging in. I encountered errors about 50% of the time whenever I refresh or back page. It started to get irritated if you're trying to spend more time here.

I am actually the site developer. But the guy who developed the forums is supposedly looking into it. I have another option, but that means ALL posts will be removed and we will have to start over. What do you think?

Yeah, I'm sorry, I meant forum developer, not site developer. Nevertheless, I don't think startiing all over is a good idea as we all have put so much time and effort writing the contents. I hope we have other alternatives.

Chad, after you updated the software, I couldn't lock in using my old password. And I forgot the login procedures you posted earlier. Now I just registered under a new username so I can post to you. Can you let me know how I can login with my old username? Thanks.

Hey. Just type your username in the login, and then choose to get a password reminder. If it doesn't send you a new password, just email me at admin@katharinefans.com and I will reset it for you.

To be honest, it has to be your computer because no one else has said anything to me. What web browser are you using? When you say randomly logs you out, can you give me specific examples?

Hey Chad, what happened to all the text formatting options? Everything seems to display now in HTML. Did you remove these features, or is it somehow me? I think it changed about the time you moved to the new server.

The problem with the old text window was that is automatically hyperlinked links. This caused problems when people wanted to post images. This new window is plain but it also loads faster. I am going to try to include bold/italics/underline buttons with this window in the future.

Also, the text formatting was getting misused(large, bright font and excessive formatting) and the forum started to get "ugly". You can still use HTML or the filters such as for image and [b ] for bold (with no spaces of course).

Can you tell me these posts that are showing HTML? I am still playing around with the settings and I want what is best for the site and users.

For the past few days I've been getting a background screen that says I'm not authorized to view this page. It doesn't seem to keep me out of anything, actually, but just seeing it nearly gave me a stroke the first time. There seemed to be a problem with aol users that others didn't have, and I'm on aol, so i wondered if there was some kind of compatibility problem. I have only noticed this very recently. Otherwise I don't seem to having nearly the locking-up problems I used to.

I have noticed the same "not authorized" message. it doesn't seem to be creating any other problems, though, thank goodness, but I'm a little concerned as to what is causing it.
