Well I do believe the spins are going down, because I think she's #72 on Mediabase now. I don't get why she's not being played, I don't think "Love Story" is a bad song at all, in fact I find it quite catchy. The truth is that she is not being promoted, that's it plain and simple. Her latest video blog says that there is more to come, so we will see what that means. I've requested here in Tennessee a bunch of times, but still nothing, so I don't know what else to do. I think Kat regardless of if it's this album or something else will be a successful person, if not she'll just have 15 babies.

It seems that only a handful of us here are requesting like we were for "Over It"... Thats a real shame, because I think "Love Story" has the potential to do better than "Over It" did.... I call Z00 daily and my friend there tells me we need to step up and have lot more folks calling in and requesting "Love Story" to Z100... She told me its always the same 6 or 7 people callng Z100 for "Love Story".... Where are all Kats fans??????? I said this once bfore a long time ago, but because Kat didnt get the "AI Finale" catapult, she really needs us "her fans" to help her,,, and I'm sad to say I think we as a whole are lettign her down... I cant speak for others but I would use this thread to help me know how Kats song was doing and how much more of an effort we need to put in requesting it... Now it seems we only get Kats daily Mediabase numbers if they are good???? I'm not only interested in "Good news" , but "bad news" also... If more of us saw that maybe her Love Story spins were going down, that might spur some other "quiet" Kat fans to start calling and requesting... I look forward to Kats Love Story spin info, good or bad... As I said, we could use it to help indicate to us we NEED to call in and request her more... At this early stage for Love Story, why are we giving up already and not even posting her spin numbers anymore??? The video isnt even out yet and she is just beginning her tv talk show promo appearances... Please everyone, lets step up and help her.... ! REQUEST REQUEST... and finally, the thread for the "Open House" Party has also seemed to have died... That was a very good place for us to call in on Saturday and Sunday nites for "Over It" and it can be also "Love Story"... Cmon everyone CALL, REQUEST REQUEST I just called Z100 to request but got a busy signal after it rang a bunch of times. I called the other day to and got through. Sometimes I call late at night and leave my phone request on their message system specifically for requests. Other times I email in requests to 9@9 and the noon countdown. I don't think z100 has the High Noon Countdown anymore, just the 9 at 9. I keep requesting, as well as on two stations here in Portland, but I have the feeling that I am alone in that. I assume it's a variety of reasons people have stopped helping Kat, but probably nothing to do with her...just other things in their life. I have no idea how to get things going again. I know I'm not home to use the computer or phone as much right now as I used to, but I request every time I have the oportunity. I'm sure other people have the same problem this time of year. I know that once the fan base got Over It started on Z100 other people joined in with the voting becasue they liked it. We didn't have enough people to keep the song going day after day, but we certainly got the ball rolling. It is still the 17th favorite song of this year on Z100 and you are talking about millions of listeners! Now if we could just get the ball rolling with Love Story...

Hmmm,... It seems that "some people" here didn't completely read my original "ALERT!!" post. I specifically said that; "Whether you agree that it should've been Kat's next single or not isn't the issue. It's been chosen,... Kat wanted it,... it's out there,... & now it's up to US to support Kat & request it as much as we can!"

I request every single day on at least one, if not both, of my local stations here in MN that "might" be persuaded to play LS, based on their format, etc. I also send "Request" emails to Z100, KISS-FM in L.A., XM-Satellite Radio, and to several other stations that I chose from the where-to-request thread, and I vote in as many of the polls referenced here as I can find the time for.
