MONDAY MEDIABASE REPORT 7/2/07
Sorry folks for my absence the past few days. Had some work and family issues that were taking up all my time and not allowing me to write anything of substance. But hopefully those are all taken care of and with these next 2 weeks in particular being very interesting there should be alot to talk and get excited about.
First of all here's today's numbers. Kat's at #65 on Pop with 213 spins and has an AI of 0.529 mil. She's at #105 on Hot AC with 24 spins.
She now has a total of 1064 spins since May 15th, with 27 new spins since yesterday.
Kat has been getting very good play in Florida with her upcoming tour this week.
To be honest things have been a little flat and slipped the past few days, but as we have been told the push from RCA and everywhere else should begin sometime in the next 2 weeks. The pics we have seen from the video shoot are spectacular to say the least and I have a feeling this video is bound for a great response on iTunes and on MTV. Plus the news of Not Ur Girl being performed now is very very exciting to me. Personally it is one of my favs and I have always wanted it to be a single at some point. Maybe this is a sign it is now being considered.
Well we shall see what comes over the next few days and with the money that they seem to be investing in the video and tour bus, I have a feeling that the promotioonal effort is about to really take off. It won't take much to really get her moving up the charts as in general things are flat at the level she is at and a big turnover is coming soon. Let's help Kat get into that group that is about to take over the top of the charts and move some of that tired other stuff out!

**ALERT!!!** IS "LS" SLIPPING?! I just checked the Mediabase reports for Top-40 and HAC, & it appears as though LS has already been losing spins for the last several days!!
Is everyone doing their part & requesting LS as much as possible? (Whether you agree that it should've been Kat's next single or not isn't the issue. It's been chosen,... Kat wanted it,... it's out there,... & now it's up to US to support Kat & request it as much as we can!)

Kat performing the song has nothing to do with it. It's all radio now. And she's flopped with Love Story, just as I predicted. I'm not a basher...might seem like so....but....i just tell it like it is....in reality, that is. And Love Story is a flop. RCA was stupid with this one. Should've been NUG. I've said this from the VERY beginning. Let's hope the next release ISN'T Home, cuz if it is, you can pretty much pound the final nail in her coffin. The next release, if anything saves this album.....it's gonna be...
