So Over It Digital sales are down 16% to 23311 for a total of 364,135. I sincerely belive she will go Gold for this single at some point. She hopefull will break 400K in 2 weeks which would be amazing!

Yes, Bill, I see the latest numbers too 

However, some more good news is that New York KHTZ upped Kat's spins this week, 17 to 50 spins and ranks Kat from  #19 to #9 on their playlist.  San Francisco KIOI continues its solid support by adding 4 to 63 spins this week and Kat's rank went from #5 back up to #3 on their playlist! 

And VH1 continues to reflect her strong fan support. Let's vote a 4-peat for Kat!

Bill's got the digital single #'s of Over It being #41 here.  Um, this is totally unofficial and they aren't always right but Wikipedia has Kat's new album sales total at 311,112.  Which means she sold 5,634 albums this week.  I hope that's wrong.  If it's right...somebody needs to seriously rework their survey system over at AllAccess.

Side note on the album sales.  The AI6 compliation has sold 311,000 copies as well and is also certified gold so...apparently once you hit 300K, they'll certify you gold.

LOVE STORY HAS IT'S FIRST SPIN!!!

Not sure where as it is a non-reporting spin but it appeared on the new Quick Cut link since yesterday.


Love Story now has a total of 1 spin since May 3rd, for a total AI 0f 0.022 Mil with 1 new spin since yesterday.

I just tried requesting it at Z-100 in NY, they said they will request it to the Music Director (Romeo) , but they also mentioned it would be hard for them to get it on so much earlier before the release date (5/22). They said sometimes it is easier for a smaller radio station to play a song this much earlier before its official release than it would be for them (Z100).
I think if we all email Romeo at Z100 requesting Love Story, it might help... I think its romeo@z100.com

I'd cool it for a little while with Z100. They are doing a good job of promoting Kat right now. Let the smaller stations take the lead with Love Story as they suggested. I don't think we want to get into email problems with them again! I'm sure they will play it and promote it when the time is right. Just my opinion.

Maybe it's better to focus on radio stations that didnt play OVER IT when requesting Love Story. That way LS spins will fare better than OI and in effect Kat's fanbase will also increase.

Also it is too soon to request LS. Fans should still request OI until LS is officially released.

Canadians know good music when they hear it. I always thought it wasn't fair to add Canadian album sales in the total. IDK but a sale is a sale IMO.

I agree...I'd at least wait until we start seeing some stations play the song on their own before you bother Z100.  I'm sure they will play Love Story without needing tons of requests like was necessary with Over It.  She's on the bill for their station's concert.  They have a vested interest in promoting her along with the rest of the acts on the bill.

And anyway...I think they've proven to be Kat friendly given that Z100 is the 3rd highest spinner of OI in the country.  So just relax a little bit....don't want to wear out our welcome with people that have been so good to Katharine.

Guys, relax.... I am friendly with the folks and know quite a few of them at Z100... My call to them was in no way a "bother" or high-pressure push on them.... I was just simply asking Love Story's chances of being played now, since one station has already played it, thats it.... No toes were stepped on at Z100, believe me....

EXPANDED MEDIABASE REPORT FOR SUNDAY 5/6/07

Well seeing we have 3 songs charting I thought we might as well do an expanded version today.

Over It's at #43 on Pop with 707 spins and has an AI of 7.872 mil.She's at #48 on Hot AC with 171 spins, #64 on AC with 21 spins and #272 on Rhythmic with 29 spins.

She now has a total of 36684 spins since 2nd Jan, with 211 new spins since yesterday.

On Canadian HAC Over It is still top 20 with the #20 song on the most improtant chart in Canada! On Canadian Top 40 she is at #50.

Now on to Love Story

Love Story is up to #338 on Canadian HAC with 2 spins!!! WooHoo!!!  For a total of 2 spins since May 3.

And surprice surprise Open Toes is charting!!!

Open Toes is the # 387 song on Canadian HAC with 1 spin!!!  

Hopefully we will start seeing some early Love Story spins soon here in the US, and if you haven't heard the cap of Kat's interview yesterday from Montreal, Love Story sounds so great on the radio!!! That was the syndicated AT40 show. As far as I know KIIS has yet to play Over It. Maybe they will play Love Story, but I'm not holding my breath!
