Something is definitely up with Real Love. Real Love is up to #307 on HAC with 2 spins. They are in Cincinnati and Detroit. It also got another spin on WHKF a Top 40 station in Harrisburg, PA this morning. It is also a CCC KISS station. Maybe they really are testing it on air now. This Harrisburg spin was at 6:15 am so a morning show spin with Prime time drive! Interesting.........
Can someone post the Sound Scan numbers sometime next week so we can see how her sales pick up? Also, there's been talk on the AI MB that her performance was taped before the actual airing of the show. Not that it matters, but does anyone know if that's true or just more Kat bashing as usual?
I believe they always record the guest performance before the show just in case there are any technical glitches. Plus, it helps them know how much time they are going to have with the rest of the show if they can nail it down just right to say 4 minutes or whatever it is. Let's Ryan & company know how much time they have to fill.

As for her sales...I don't think they were posted in this thread. They went from 200 the week before Idol to 500 after the appearance and then another 400 the following week. So she got a small bump from it. Her sales for OI on ITunes went up as well but I didn't see the numbers. It's well over 500K now though...Wikipedia says 522,000.

I agree with Bill....the only way that the debut album reaches Gold is if there's something that sparks interest in it. And the only thing I can see doing that is having the next album do really great and people go, "What else has she done?" and they pick it up. Hopefully, they'll like both of them even though I think it's fair to expect that they'll be fairly different from each other.
