Notice that Love Story has falled off Idolwave Chart List. It peaked at #18. I wrote a note to DJ Kenny about this drop off he stated because of the lack of requests & ratings. Even tho Idolwave is a internet radio station it still way for others to hear Love Story. Pls request Love Story and get Kat music get back on Idolwave's list. Here is the link to IdolWave

Ratings and requests. "Love Story" just isn't doing that well. It peaked at #18, but it hasn't had enough to get a good push. It seems that most of Kat fans have given up on it, even on Idol Waves. Then, the other basic Idol fans who listen just prefer other songs right now. I know on Mediabase Top 40, it only reached in the 60s, but is now in the 150s? Very disappointing. I thought "Home" should have been the second single, personally. Ballads are doing very well around this time on the Top 40 chart (i.e. Big Girls Don't Cry, Who Knew, When You're Gone, etc). It would certainly be an AC smash.
"Over It" reached #1 in May and is still on the Top 12 recurrent list. It's still more requested than "Love Story" or any of her other songs ... By the way, as long as LS stays in the Top 30, it'll be in semi-heavy rotation. Glad you had a chance to hear it :-) "Home" is in the playlist too, and "Not Ur Girl," "Everywhere I Go" and "Better Off Alone" have been in and out since January.
The music we play is determined by ratings. Kat's songs, for the most past, have not rated very well lately -- "Over It" being the exception. I don't know if that's just because Kat fans had abandonded Idol Waves or what? Last year, she got really good ratings for SOTR, MD and Somos Novios. All of those songs reached the Top 5. So, what happened? I'm not sure.
DJ Kenny gave Kat fans a bonus last nite...played 'I Lost You". Heard again Love Story at 6:30 am PST.

One way DJ Kenny keep track of rating for his station is to look at Live365 Playlist who the current artist is singing there is a 'Thumbs Up' and 'Thumbs Down' rating. Be sure and rate song if u choose to rate a particular song.
IdolWave also played 'Home' ..I was to late to listen to it and rate it.
