MONDAY MEDIABASE REPORT 6/18/07
Well for this week we begin with the words UP, UP UP!!!!
Love Story is up 2 spots (actually 3 after yesterday's afternoon updates had her at #70) to #67 with 210 spins. This is her second day in a row with over 200 spins for the past 7 days.
She's at #118 on Hot AC with 16 spins. She now has a total of 505 spins, with 25 new spins since yesterday. So even with the sunday slow spin day, till she makes the weekend shows, she still climbed up on the charts!
Thanks to Joe, sjwolves, but Big Ups today go to KVFX in Salt Lake City!!! Though not a reporting station they played LS 7 times yesterday!!! And that on a sunday!!! Her biggest spin day on any station yet!! They have really been her biggest supporter so far! Hopefully our other SLC station KZHT with over 1000 OI spins will be on board soon!
In Canada LS is also up!!! It is now #93 with 39 spins her biggest weekly toatla there yet as well. And what is great is CHUM in Toronto is spinning her daily!!! Canada's #1 market!
In North America Love Story has now been spun 702 times!
So this week is really starting out well and hopefully we will see good adds lists these next few days and this movement upweard will continue all week!! So let's get requesting again! Let's make this the week LS really starts to take off!!

Actually Minnie we have 2 other HAC stations, WDVD in Detroit twice last week and KQKQ in Omaha is a new station completely. They never played OI at all and spun on Saturday I believe. This is going to be a great format for Love Story, I'm certain of it! We need KIOI on board soon! They have over 1100 sapins of OI but not 1 of LS!!
TUESDAY MEDIABASE REPORT 6/19/07
Kat continues to rise on HAC thanks to her first official HAC add for Love Story WKRQ Cinncinati. She's at #111 on Hot AC with 18 spins. They have been strong supporters of Love Story in that new market for her!
Kat's at #69 on Pop with 212 spins and has an AI of 0.341 mil. Her AI is increasing because of more and more daytime spins. Her spin total is going up and hopefully we will see some good adds for LS on Pop later on today!
Big ups today go to WXXL in Orlando with 5 spins yesterday!!! This should continue as she is headlining their radio show along with Elliott!
In Canada CHUM in Toronto is spinning her daily now and she is now #93 on that important format! Her total spins in North America is now 754!
So Kat fans another good day for Kat and for Love Story. Hopefully we will see a very nice adds chart tonight and those stations hoping on board very quickly!

Well the Hot 100 is driven mostly by Digi sales now. Once airplay improves and the downloads take off it should happen.
So much of the impact of this song from RCA will begin when the video is finished. That is when we will see Z100 on board for certain. Remember to support the stations that ARE playing her now. They need good feedback and if we can really build a good strong mid market wave for when the RCA push comes that will be so much the better. !!
WEDNESDAY MEDIABASE REPORT 6/20/07
What a great day to be a Kat fan! The discovery of more "Kat Unplugged" music on Rhapsody, her best weekly spin total yet for Love Story, a new Top 20 market spinning her, getting officially added at the #1 most important radio station in Canada and some very positive signs for tomorrows charts as well!
First off, Kat's new "Unplugged" sessions are simply amazing. She never ceases to keep reminding us all why we fell in love with her and her amazing instrument!
Kat's at #67 on Pop with 225 spins and has an AI of 0.396 mil. Her highest total yet! She's at #110 on Hot AC with 16 spins. She now has a total of 591 spins since May 15th, with 44 new spins since yesterday. She is #12 on the Taking Off chart!
In Canada, she has been officially added by CHUM. They are THE most important station there in the #1 market. They own MuchMusic, Canada's MTV as well. This is a big get!!!
She is now #90 on Canadian HAC, her highest postion yet for LS with 42 spins! She is also #19 on Canadian HAC taking off chart!
She was officially added by KKPN in Corpus Christi. Also WFLZ in Tampa #19 market is on board now with a spin during the overnight. They will show up on tomorrow's report and have a concert with Kat on July 4th and should start being a good spinner! Also there are some good things going on today to feel very good about as well!!

THURSDAY MEDIABASE REPORT 6/21/07
I think it was the summertime.............. And 3 new stations first laid eyes on you ,Kat!! Yep, 3 new stations yesterday! WFLZ-FM (Tampa), WKRZ-FM (Wilkes-Barre) twice and WZKL-FM (Canton, OH). Tampa market 19! Canton was a good OI spinner and Wilkes Barre!!! This is the other station there and that market was so good to Kat and OI early on! Hopefully BHT will be back in force there too!! WKRZ's first day was 2 spins!
Kat had her BIGGEST SPIN DAY FOR LOVE STORY YESTERDAY!!! And she had her biggest 7 day spin period as well. So what does that give her? Her highest charting yet on Top 40 for Love Story!!
Kat's at #66 on Pop with 244 spins and has an AI of 0.470 mil. She now has a total of 641 spins since May 15th, with 51 new spins since yesterday.
In Canada Love Story has a new high as well!! Kat is now #88 on Canadian HAC!! She could, repeat could, make a big jump there tomorrow as the 7 songs directly above her, 6 are falling and 1 is flat in spins! This chart is really gonna be good for Kat. OI was #9 there and LS seems like it has the chance to do even better eventually!
So Kat fans, this truly is the best time of year and Kat needs our help to help make it the Summer of Love (Story)!!!
This is confusing...so she's getting promotion for the album in Canada and yet...nothing in the United States. I'm guessing a part of the deal with her appearing on Canadian Idol was for them to run ads for her CD during the show this season.
You're right on that but let me show you something....
All of these songs have been in a little pack for the last week or so SLOWLY moving up the board. As long as the spin totals are heading upward she's doing fine. We know that RCA is waiting until the music video release to push LS on all platforms at the same time so...you know maximum impact. I'm thinking they think that might lead to a really good couple of weeks of digital sales which would produce a very high Billboard #, which in turn could result in even more spins for LS which hopefully will lead to the album sales picking up.
Then again I could be giving RCA too much credit but I'm choosing to be positive because it's a much better way to be.
One other thing...even though she's moving up slowly...her audience #'s have doubled in the last week. That's the most important number. And it'll explode once a few of the big stations get going. At least the people at Z100 said in a few weeks, which would go along with the theory that RCA is waiting on the music video which will probably be around July 9-11 I'd bet. They could have said, "Um, no we're not going to play it." Of course that wouldn't make any sense given how much they played Over It (#3 OI station be
