Let's just say that she has already shipped out more but isn't there yet. If she gets an AI appearance she should get the orders in time for what I see happening in that her Gold cert will come just in time for Clive to announce it at his final 3 visit.
I'd agree that an AI appearance should really help Kat. See how the Billboard 200 positions changed after a TV appearance. Tony Bennett went from #138 to #92 after appearing on "American Idol" and Josh Groban #115 to #96 after an appearance on "Dancing with the Stars".

Sales dropped for EVERYTHING this week. About 24% industry wide. Although Kat got hit harder than that (35%). Hmm...well her radio airplay is fading a little and she didn't really do anything of note in America last week so...hopefully when she starts doing these radio concerts, appears on Idol (we assume) and releases a new single that'll get things moving again. She had a good 10th week (up 17%) so...it's been kind of up and down with the album the entire time really. Although I'm not sure I see any reason to think Week #12 is going to be that great unless those people in Canada crossed the border to pick up Kat's CD.
It's really, really time to release the second single. Or at least let everyone know what it is. Can we at least know that?
Oh and what's going to make her a star? Well, in some sense she is a star already. She certainly gets treated like one by all the magazines & entertainment shows. How do I say this without it sounding like a backhanded compliment toward Katharine? Um...here's the thing about Kat. People want to have her around. Yeah, a lot of that is because she's super beautiful but...if you've noticed in a lot of these write-up blogs or whatever you call them...these magazine people make special point to tell you how wonderful Katharine is. How easy she is to deal with, how she hangs out with the crew, etc, etc.
Is some of that because this is all still kind of new to her or is that just how she is? I'd like to believe she'll always be like this. I see no reason not to believe that.
What will it take to get the album sales a rolling? A hot single. It's that simple really. So hopefully they choose the right one. Because the reality is this. There are A LOT of prospective CD buyers out there that still haven't heard Over It on their local radio stations. Many major cities never jumped on board for whatever reason. LA, Dallas, Chicago, Houston just to name a few. That's millions and millions of people....if only 1% of the people in those cities combined bought Katharine's album that would be another what 100,000 in sales? 1% is probably high but my point is...there's still a lot of room for growth.
And sometimes people need to hear a second song to convince them to buy an album. So...I wouldn't give up hope yet. And the news that she's shipped gold now is obviously very encouraging.
Any more info on the new TV comedy..name? Thank you
Why don't you purchase them from Amazon in the meantime? You could try emailing Peisha. She always responds and she knows who to pass the word on to so that's Kat's team is made aware of the problem. I've notified her of similar issues in the past and she always responded within a day or two and was very appreciative. If you want her email address email me with a subject about it so I know who you are and I'll give it to you. I don't think it's right for me to post it here.
