This is really exciting. I wish that we would hear it here in California. Someone send a link to the NY radio station. Maybe they have streaming. It would have been 8 AM here in California.

Why aren't you guys in Calif. hearing Kat yet? You need to keep calling, calling, calling your radio stations out there like us nuts back East, LOL!!!! I've become one huge pain with all my emails, LOL!!!!

I honestly don't think it's a lack of requests that's keeping KIIS from playing "Over It".  I think it all has to do with RCA and/or KIIS.  KIIS could be waiting for RCA to make with the payola, and RCA may be waiting to do so until they feel it's the right time strategically.  Beyond my little conspiracy theory I have no idea why they aren't playing Kat here.

You are right. 

L.A. radio stations music directors want to get the payola from RCA Records to play Kat's song on L.A. radio stations and RCA Records doesn't  accept the bribe...

Errrr... Since I used to be in the industry (DJ), I can comment on that one... The big payola scandal was in the 50's thru the 60's.  It never went away, the reps just found sneakier ways to do it.  Not that Kat needs that kind of help or anything, her CD is every bit as good as anything on the airwaves, but  I'm sure payola in some shape or form still determines to a degree what is played.

Over at Amazon.com, Kat's sales is dropping like a rock. It's now #46, and I think it's all because of the one star reviews. Some uncommitted potential buyers check out the reviews before they buy. If they see a lot of one or two star reviews, they will back away. Please HELP report all those one star reviews. Just click "report this" in those reviews so that Amazon will notice them and hopefully remove them. These one star reviews are mostly nothing but a campaign against Kat's sales. They can't be objective. I maybe may give credence to the 3 stars and even some 2 stars reviews, but one star?

Katharine's demographic is young, hip, urban. Now that the CD has been released and can be found in any of dozens of music stores within a 10 mile radius of most people's homes, why would anyone buy it off Amazon where you have to pay extra for shipping and then wait for a week? Young people don't want to wait and they don't want to waste precious dollars on postage either.

Meanwhile a new record for spins was set today - almost 300 - and Katharine is now #38 at mediabase. That is what really matters. Sales may even be down again in the third week but don't despair. We are here for the long haul. Video coming out soon, new single in couple of months, lots more promotions to come.

Every sale counts. That's what I mean. Don't count Amazon out as it reaches outside North America where they don't hear the radio-plays in the US. If you depend on just one demographic, the diminishing proportion of young people in America, forget about Kat getting to Platinum.

I really think everyone needs to calm down about the amount of sales right now....its sooo early!!!
She doesn't have a video out, the radio stations in most of the country aren't playing it in a regular rotation....GIVE IT TIME !!! The thing is that everyone who was a fan since Idol went out and got the album the first week....now she has to gain new fans, and without radio play and video there are no hopes of that happening.

Just take it one day at a time and ENJOY the music!!! Spread the word to all your friends (make them buy it)... call your location station, request the song!!

Selling a million albums doesn't happen over night...and I have no doubt that she will get there, it just might take a little more time.

After being on TRL all next week (and hopefully a video release) things should pick up.

please be patient and more importantly think positively, and MOST importantly, support her 150%
