I was having fun watching the vote total rise but realized that each vote cast makes the total vote pool larger, so each vote is a smaller percentage. So each time, the percentage goes up, but by a smaller percent. So now we really have to work to get her up to 70%. Wait til some other fans get wind of this poll. Is there a cutoff date or is it just kind of an ongoing thing? I didn't read the whole site.
Oh, I put this link in my thread called A Collection of Voting Sites. In case anyone stops in there, they can find all kinds of stuff. We know the video sites are either not functional right now or still showing Over It, but eventually Love Story will be there, so I just left the links in.
Hey! Has anyone else noticed that the Elliot fans have "blown" Katharine out of the water on this B104 voting poll over the weekend?! Is anyone else out there besides me still voting on this website??
It's not that I have anything against Elliot, of course, but I'd just like to see Katharine back at the top of this poll, if possible. And, it should BE possible. When I went out there about 20 mins ago, Elliot had 98% of the vote, and Kat only had 1%! BUT, now that I've just spent the last 15-20 mins voting, Elliot now only has 89% of the total vote, and Kat's number is up over 6%!! So, the total "Pool" of votes can't be all that much yet! Maybe they just reset the website's poll numbers over the weekend, in which case it shouldn't take a whole lot of effort from all of us to reverse this situation again! Anyone going to help me out here??

Phone requests as well as votes!
It bothered me that Love Story got the most votes on B104 and didn't get picked up on the B104 Play List, so I emailed Jason Bowers and this is his response as to how the system works: "Well, I'm not in the programming department (we have a wonderful team behind the scenes), but I can try to answer your question, at least partially. Most of the time if a song is hitting #1 on the Most Requested list it's already on our "play list," behing heard throughout the day on B104. You'll probably notice, though, that some songs have huge percentages on the Most Requested list on B104.com but still don't make it onto the countdown... most of the time this is because while it may have gotten lots of online votes, it didn't necessarily get a lot of phone requests. Since the phone is way more accessible to most of our listeners (especially those in the car), this tends to far outweigh the internet votes (and we count both when tallying the votes). I'm sure someone explained previously that radio stations cater to their local audiences. Therefore, to get Love Story on the B104 play list, it will take phone requests as well as votes.
