Over the past week or so I'm not seeing any voting efforts for TRL, VH1, Z100 etc etcKatharine was not in the top 10 so far this week at TRL, and not getting support at z100. I hope we still have her at #1 at VH1 this week. All Katharine fans need to vote daily. It doesn't take but a few minutes to drop in a few votes. Some of us have continued voting daily but we need all of your support

The question asked on the weekly sales chart thread as to why here sales are dropping is because Katharine Fans ALL OVER need to VOTE at TRL, VH1, AI board, and radio play. THAT IS THE ANSWER!!

Few things here....
1) Let's focus on VH1 since Over It is still "new" there.
2) She couldn't stay on top at Z100 forever. She had a fantastic run on those countdown shows. But the fact is (I noticed this)...it didn't impact her spins totals one way or the other. Now, I do believe that all the requesting at Z100 helped get her on there sooner than probably was planned. And I do think the initial wave also increased her spin totals there early on as well. HOWEVER, once she got established on the station it didn't really matter if she made the countdown or not. Her spin totals were constant. She didn't get anything extra out of making the countdown. Other than it being really cool to hear her at #1. I'm not saying the voting doesn't matter at all. I'm just saying...it's important in the beginning phase. So get ready for whenever single #2 hits the airwaves.
3) She's dropping spins? Well yeah...there are a lot of new songs making there way onto the radio the last week or so. Something's gotta go to make room and OI's been out there for more than three months. This is why it's annoying to me that Over It isn't being replaced by another Katharine song. But right now it's getting bumped for Kelly C, Justin T, Rihanna, etc, etc.
So my point is...relax for a bit and get your requesting fingers, mouse clickers and all of that ready for the next single. That's when Katharine will need us all again. At this point OI is just running its course before being shipped out to sea with all the other old singles in the world. But that's why I say VH1 is important because she's still NEW there.
I don't think its primarily trying to make her # 1, but rather to keep radio stations playing "OI". There is a need to keep the requests going
