Well, her escapades with Corey Clark would seem it indicate that maybe she is.  Actually, I'm still surprised that she survived that to still be on the show.  Having an off-air personal relationship with a contestant DURING their time on the show should be absolutely taboo (whether it was actually sexual in nature or not).   No doubt she is much more lenient in her criticism toward the men but I don't think much of anyone puts any clout in what she says anyway.  She was definitely very "catty" toward Katharine in her critique on the show as I guess she felt that Katharine was threatening her beloved Elliot and Taylor.

Yes,Dark Angel.....hope the camera is on Simon and Paula,embarassed and sliding down in their seats as Katharine takes command of the stage and totally nails her performance.
Who knows why these two had chosen to make disparaging remarks re: Kat's post-AI career....but whatever reason, they fully deserve to eat their words and some major crow tonight!

Not a mention about Katharine and David on americanidol.com. about their Performance tonight.
First Disrespectable -Strike of the day.
How many more will come out today ?

My heart and prayer's go out to Katharine and David.
I can still feel the contempt that is still hovering over them .The will have the Last Laugh,and we have to support them both no matter what takes place tonight.
It takes a lot of Courage to do what they are doing and i salute them both.

Ok, I'm a bit confused here, and hoping someone can help me on this.
I watched Idol last night, and I watched it back again on my TIVO recording, and I didnt hear Ryan mention Kat or David appearing tonite..
Can someone please confirm if they heard Ryan mention Kat and David appearing on last nights show and if so, where in the show was it mentioned? I watched the end of the show 3 times now, and all that Ryan mentions for tonight is something about "mentors".... no Kat or David.. Thanks for your help ....

Yes, Goody, I'm afraid that tonight might be a tough one for fans of Katharine and David Foster. As I already mentioned, I'm trying to prepare myself for the lack of respect that will be shown to Katharine and David. I know I shouldn't worry about how Katharine and David will react to it. They are both such class acts and have great support from their families, friends and peers in the music industry.  I can just imagine what Foster might say if anyone dares to question his choice to work with Katharine and guide her singing career! Still, I'm such an over-sensitive soul and so protective of people that I care about, that I'll probably end up in a "stew" over the whole thing. Hopefully, my pessimistic prediction will not come to fruition! But, I know that I have to be ready for anything when it comes to AI and it's treatment of Katharine.

Ryan's mention of Katharine and David came during the second hour of the show.
I live in SC and know it was between 9:00 PM and 9:30 PM.{Eastern Day Light Time}
It was just be a Break and very fast.

But. . .did it seem to anyone else like Ryan sort of lacklusterly blew through announcing that Kat would be on? Maybe I'm overreacting, but it seemed like his announcement of Blake's appearance was much more enthusiastic.

I'm on the road but stopped to get ready for the show tonight. Luckily, the hotel has good cable tv system. I also have it programed to record at home. Very excited now.....
Movie actors like Paul Newman, Jimmy Stewart, Humphrey Bogart, Katharine Hepburn, Lauren Bacall and Bette Davis make me want to live in the era they lived but I could have been just as inspired even now while I watch their work in films.

Thanks so much for the wonderful news!!! I'm thrilled to hear Kat will be performing on AI this week! As many have mentioned, hopefully "Project Kit Kat" let the powers that be know just how much she was missed by all her fans last season!! Thanks to everyone who help me with the project. Needless to say, I'll be glued to the tube to see our girl take the AI stage once again!! YAY!!!!!!!

Phenominal.

She looked so beautiful I litterally couldn't catch my breath. And her singing??? So simple, so lovely but she throws in her little riffs and makes it even more special. Wow...I'm pretty sure I'm going to watch her performance from tonight a dozen times before I go to bed. She was the only reason to watch the show tonight.
