Until I actually hear the second single, I say it still looks like those first 3 songs. They're a fairly good representation of the album--medium tempo ballad, up tempo dance tune, and serious ballad with very little studio tinkering, mostly just featuring K's voice. I completely forgot that they said that on the album, but it's likely you're right groucho! I still hope that Opens Toes is the next single though.

I think open toes will do good even though its a song about shoes. who knew a song about shoes could be so good lol. I find it amazing that people, even at this late date, consider Open Toes an "upbeat little song about shoes" and in my opinion the song really cuts to the heart of the most fundamental question that lies at the center of many, if not all, capitalistic societies and certainly the brand of capitalism practiced in America, to wit: Does the practice of materialism, in and of itself, lead to happiness or is companionship an essential for one to experience the best of being human. Deep, deep existential stuff. Answer: Put them on let's go.

Normally on AOL music, an artist goes into AOL's studio and performs a certain amount of songs which eventually turn out to be their singles. On Katharine's page on AOL, it has Over It, and snippets from Open Toes, Love Story, and Each Other. Since they released snippets of those songs, maybe that means those will be her future singles. All three songs would show a great variety.

And I'll bet if we played Open Toes backwards, it would have an embedded message that says "You are living in a material world and you're all material girls! Go spend your treasure on yourselves!"
