.....for a girl we voted so hard for because we were scared she'd never realize how special she was.... for a girl who we fell in love with in her auditions because she was a bad ass and didn't know it... i think that this is all really significant. kat has come so far in the span of a year. i think she's lived so much life in the past 12-18 months, and although there was a lot of adversity, she had what it took inside to overcome it. because of that, the adversity made her the strong woman she is today. i am happy for her. besides not winning idol, you couldn't have written a better script.
You're right! And the movie Spielberg or another major producer/director should make about Kat (she'd play the lead) could very well be titled, "AMERICAN IDOL", and sub-titled, "She Never Saw It Comin'!"

You guys are so welcome, no need to thank me.  When I found this I was so excited to get this posted over at KMF for all our Kat Kousins.  I love the name for the album title!  Also, she WILL sell enough to tour - we already have two RVs lined up for the "Kat Pack Cali Road Tour" it's going to be a blast!    BTW - We are looking for drivers, I sure as heck ain't driving, I'd take out far too many curbs!  (Why do I keep envisioning Laurie and SJWolves (Joe) behind the wheels?) 

Oh, also Mutt - kinda ironic the writer is from Hawaii - I thought that was cool . . . I guess he was channeling your aura when he wrote the article.
