And, I must be one because I don't know what nOObs is. Explanation, please?

--You have a strong desire to make people believe there's a double meaning for the word "nOObs"--but you refrain to keep things within a modicum of taste so people won't stop being addicted to KMF.

--Reading back on this thread, you realize your word count is still high and nothing much has changed in why we keep coming back here...even if it's being addicted only one or two days out of the week now.

--You realize a year can change things and this thread is now in direct competition with a "You Know You're Addicted to Kat/MySpace/Idolforums/McPheeClub if..." thread that I hear is up to 80,434 pages and counting.

--You're in a satiric frame of mind and want to go into that "What's Kat's Vocal Range?" thread and convince people Kat's a Basso Profundo with a high range.

--You have to let perplexed nOObs know that "Unhas" means "(finger)nails" in Portuguese when describing how Kat likes to bite her nails (and siphon her fingernail polish). This subsequently makes Portuguese the best of the Romance languages.

--After seeing all the prior jokes about the chat room here...you're tempted to go in and see how many cobwebs have developed in there since...and if Kat still happens to be in there talking to herself or the spiders.

--You wonder if 19 Records gave Kat a piggy bank to save up the cut of the profits off her incredible Rhapsody EP sold for $2.97. And, if you could play God, 19 Records would get the 7 cents...assuming someone figuring the totals knows how to make change out of odd numbers.

--A secret wish develops that Kat's "The Last Caller" is about angry urban people on a rampage against aluminum siding salesmen calling during their dinner hour.

Your kids tease you everytime you're on KMF or doing anything remotely connected to kat on line...

Your 18-year-old declares to all his friends that his mom is "obsessed with Katharine McPhee"...

You risk sending an OI radio promo cd cover that you paid over $100 for to momma Peisha' house hoping for an autograph then, after 5 months with no return, you consider hiring someone to go in there and dig through piles of letters and boxes to retrieve your priceless treasure, signed or NOT!  

When your kid starts heading for the desk and you stealthly switch over to the other page you have opened for the purpose of hiding what you're really doing...

When you have a group of teenage girls captive in your van and you start playing songs off Kat's cd to "guage the opinion of the younger generation" in spite of the rolling eyes you see in the rear view... 

When your 21-year-old nephew posts comments on my MySpace page that his auntie is a Katharine McPhee "stalker"...

And finally...when you sit at your computer for 15 minutes to answer this post...

These are all true events but the names and ages of the characters have been changed to protect the innocent....

...you see an add for a t-shirt company and you chuckle at the headline "Holy Shirt" because it reminds you of a certain Kat fan who is known to blurt that out upon seeing new Kat pics!
