The last Amazon spike came after the Rose Parade. There is nothing comparable going on now, the only thing going on is that a few radio stations are playing "Over It". Is that what is causing this spike?

The idea of releasing a track from the album as a single is for airplay to get people interested in the rest of the album, hence sales of the album. Over the next three weeks interest should definitely spike enough to translate into respectable album sales.

I have to pre order 2 of them right now so could someone tell me if I should get it from Amazon or click the front page of this message board or go to her official website and order it there or to RCA and order it there???? I am confused. I want my 2 orders to count for what poll they are going to consider for the 1 million records that Kat is going to sell. Please help!

Please help![/quote] If you go through the link on the homepage it will take you to Katharine's Amazon page. Pre-orders will count towards first week sales. Plus KMF gets a small percentage if you go though that link.

Her CD just dropped $1 to $12.99 on Amazon and in turn dropped down to #108. Could be because shipping info was reported.

Where should I buy my cd? I don't want to wait for Amazon to deliver it. I've heard some mention that some stores' sales don't count toward "official" sales. I certainly want mine to be official. Best Buy and Target would be my personal prefernces, all other things being equal.
