- when alone in your room, you wrap yourself up in a yellow blanket and sing I Have Nothing, making sure to include Kat's scary facial expressions and the wardrobe malfunction...which your mother walks in on...good thing she has McPheever...she thought it was funny!

- when talking to your aunt about bad weather on the East Coast, you lament to her about Kat's flight being delayed...she just kinda looks at you...

- you jump out of bed, even though you've had only 4 hours of sleep because you realize that it's been 4 hours since you saw KAT IN GLASSES!!!

You enter chat a little before 10 on a Thursday night only to find 1 person.  This immediately triggers the imagining of all sorts of scenarios that you might have missed last night in chat that would have scared everyone away.  Only after 20 minutes of agonizing over where your "friends" might possibly be does it occur to you that perhaps they are just interacting with real people in the flesh and it may not be a natural disaster scale emergency after all.

--you are at your mom's office and you see a patient's chart and it says Someone Evans (3-25-##) THere are 2 <---becasue there is a father and a son. and you go "Hey that's Kat's Birthday!!!!!!!!!!"

--they lady at the front desk says to a patient "oh okay it's coming back to me" . and you start singing It's All Coming Back to Me Now. and one of they secretaries goes "wait who sang ...." and you chime in "KATHARINE WITH MEATLOAF"

--your mom opens an imvitation thing from Ohio State for your sister and you look over and see COME RAIN or SHINE...and once again you start singing

Those are all very funny.  Anybody know why I can't ever remember if Katharine's birthday is March 22 or March 25....where is Mar 22 coming from?  It has no significance to me.  Anyway...

I think my most "knowing I'm addicted" is when I catch myself before I say..."You know that reminds me...Katharine...." because I know I'll get rolling eyes in my direction.

Oh, no this is better.  When driving in the car and a thought about Katharine comes to mind (happens frequently)....I'll wait sometimes for an American Idol related song to come on the radio...

There's a lot of them...anything Kelly Clarkson...that Daniel Powter song...the Mary J Blige song Paris sang..."Savin' Me" from Elliott/Chris...and of course the showstopper "Black Horse And The Cherry Tree" which causes an immediate uncontrollable smile...(I have no idea what I'll do when Katharine has a song on the radio...I might have to stop driving at that point because I'll probably crash the car in excitement everytime).

I'll use that as an excuse to say, "That reminds me...you know what Katharine did..."

- realizing that you're gonna get a weird look when you talk about Katharine, so you learn to close your eyes and talk...and that was you can imagine her when you talk...although I wouldn't try this at home...this practice tends to make you lose your train of thought!

- everytime the word "glasses" is mentioned, you smile uncontrollably and even stare off into space a bit, prompting the people around you to say, "Why do you have that goofy look on your face?" but you NEVER tell them because you feel KAT IN GLASSES is your "naughty" little secret.

--You like the new rough-textured background on the site more every minute...and decide that's what you'll do to your own walls at home if a home makeover show comes knocking on the door.

--You wonder why there's been a dearth of media content from the last few 'AI' tour shows. Haunting images of 'AI' security goons taking people's vid cameras and eating them in front of the people come to mind.

--You can say that Kat visits here openly on the board...and have it be unnoticed by a huge amount of people. That's either some kind of counter power-of-suggestion technique or just people guffawing wildly that we're all just talking through our McHats.

--The next big KMF thing is...."Kat in a McHat!!!!!!!1" And that's followed by Dr. Seuss prose being written everywhere until "Kat with an African Nosering?!!!!!11! takes over next week.

--The Katfia decides to make their victims sleep with the Calamari, which means death by tentacle strangulation rather than drowning with feet in hardened cement.

--Orange-glowing glasses coulda woulda shoulda been an option to purchase to wear at the 'AI' shows.

Yeah, that's what prompted my "Calm Before The Storm" post.  No good media the last few days.  I would be incapable of actually getting anything because it would take away from my ability to enjoy Katharine fully.  So...I'm not sure how these people do it.

--You look forward to seeing Kat win serious awards that don't require having a separate room for Teen Choice Award surfboards or cheapo awards that can hurt your McButt if placing one in a chair. At least Grammys and Oscars can go over fireplace mantles...as long as you don't have a significant other who shoves yours over to place his or hers there too.

--You create a cyber geographical map showing all the cyber islands of lost souls who write ignorant things about Kat. So far, our own explorers have found another hopeless race over on the island of Live Journal. I hear they do headshrinking there too...along with boiling people alive in giant pots while they do tribal dances. And I hope they quote me over there.

--Red Herring sales have gone up in the fish markets around NYC since the play 'Red Herring' started playing on the stage this last week. Also, Scrabble sales go up.

--After Rihanna beats Kat at the TCA's tonight--you persuade Kat to start lip-synching, and not carry a tune in a bucket in order to outsell Rihanna and the other female pop stars out there. Then again, trying to get Kat to sing inside a bucket might be more of a challenge than the first challenge.

--You start to downplay the notion of Kat wearing an African McNose ring after you see this picture of what she'd have to endure if she decided to make such a fashion statement:
