Again. a great performance.  She is getting looser and more relaxed with the material and the band.  Regis was very kind and said some wonderful things about good reviews and that she is becoming a big star.  She was so gracious.  It sounds like she will be doing another song, too.

LS sounded great, too. Regis is really excited about Kat and her album. He was the best person so far in terms of promotion for her. This was the first time he has met her and contracted McPheever instantly.

I agree. As Randy would say "props, props. Very loose, loved "Love Story". You can see she just wants to break out with this uptempo stuff. Looked great, sounded great. I wish we could have heard the complete song.

Katharine was loose and so cool. Regis gave her a great opening. Each performance is getting better with the whole background group. Only regret is they cut off while she was singing Love Story.

That was her best live show yet!!!! LOVE STORY WAS HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SMOKIN HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!

She needs to sing that live more often!!!!! That is a GREAT live song!!!!

Regis and Kelly were great to her and she was incredible. And they ran her commercial as well!!!!!! In between her segments!!!! Simply her best show yet!!!!!!

The show airs here at 11:00 a.m.--so I'll have to just catch the KMF media download tonight due to my having to go here pretty soon...

Good to hear that Kat finally got a chance to sing 'Love Story' once and for all. I think it was likely planned that she'd sing that on 'Today' yesterday--but the cold weather moved her inside where she couldn't pre-tape it to air at the end of the show. When it's outside, they can tape a second number to air in the last five minutes of the show (at 10 a.m.). If Kat performs on there this summer, you'll have to wait until 11 a.m. because of 'Today' apparently moving to FOUR hours soon. That seems like overkill--unless performers get to perform three songs instead of two.

I'm just glad Regis wasn't incited to sing because of Kat's history with standards. I like Regis, but his standards album must have sold five copies I think. Sometimes he likes to sing with stars who sing standards (he did a duet with Michael Buble once)--but Reege's voice pales when paired up with a superior singer. Even so, having Kat and Regis duetting still would have been fun.

I see nobody's giving any details of her interview--or did she have much of one? It seems the interviews on TV are becoming fairly routine (even though the 'Today' one was different and quite good)--so maybe there's some fresh things said today. I'm glad Regis was finally there to meet Kat. Having The Donald around made me nervous the last time Kat was there, despite The Donald's respect for her. Kat even complimented Donald's hair. And that might make them friends for life because of that.

Be back tonight to give my impressions--though I can tell Kat's highlight is 'LS' this morning. It's the most downloaded track from Kat's album on Rhapsody's Top 200 as of this morning (#44)...

^Whoa! Thanks, Aidan, for the Youtube link to that. Now that's what we've been waiting for from Katharine in these live performances. She really came to life there....and it almost makes you wish she would have done that on Leno instead of 'OI.' Kat exudes all her amazing stage presence in that...and I think she was doing some new moves I'll have to go back and catch. She moves like nobody else out there when she gets a song that really inspires her. I think 'LS' gets her into a better groove.

I have to go...but I hope to see a high-quality d/l of the whole thing again tonight. (Calling Diff...)
