Kat's finally going to be back on American Idol!!! Next week she's performing with Elliott on results show night!
It would've been great if she could have performed on AI to promote her solo album last year, but anyway, it'll be great to see her on the show again.

Looks like I'm going WED. I got this email yesterday!!! Due to your place on the waiting list, we are notifying you of availability to tapings of American Idol next Tuesday, March 11th and Wednesday, March 12th. On Tuesday we are taping the full dress rehearsal which is a taping of the entire show including all performances and Ryan Seacrest. The only thing you don't see in the rehearsal is the judge's comment. This is generally the best way to get into a taping of the performance show as tickets for the live performance show are limited. And on Wednesday we are taping the LIVE results show Please remember vouchers are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Thank you and enjoy the show!!

Hey Goody, I almost hoped for DF last night (in my other posts) to show up along with Kat on Wednesday! Where did you read about it? I'd love to read the article! I still feel that Kat's performing with DF and AB right after the Idol Finale in Season 5 put a "fly in the ointment" with AI producers! They weren't able to keep that "great recipe" in their own kitchen!!!!!
Sorry about all my posts! I'm just so excited about Katharine performing on Wednesday night! Surely, they won't just gloss over her performance what with David Foster also being there! When they've had other Idols back (as in Blake's perf) they just kind of show them and then it's off to "business at hand". Hopefully, Ryan will do an interview with both David and Kat! This may be just what we all have been hoping for for such a long time!

Gee, I'm going a bit overboard! As far as Simon is concerned, he does have his merits on the show. I agree with many that as frustrating as he can be at times, he usually is "spot on" with his observations. The thing that really puts him in my "basement" as far as being constructive and helpful to the contestants, is when he totally disrepects them while they are performing by clowning around like a schoolboy! I remember he justified his "antics with Paula" during the perfomances by explaining that he really knew after watching the dress rehersals carefully, exactly how the performances would go and therefore didn't need to really pay close attention to the performances taking place on air. Still, that's a pretty lame excuse.....especially for such a "proper" Englishman!!! Before you think I'm slandering the English, my lineage is from that part of the world and I was brought up with really strict moral and proper manners! Simon will always be a "law unto himself"....guess that's what can make the show so interesting yet, infuriating at times!
Oh my goodness! I think I'm more excited for Wednesday night than a kid waiting for Christmas!!
