Wow you guys are great with your voting. My mom's celll phone indicated that I sent out over 1100 votes for the entire two hours. I did not even try the landline because I have two babies to put to bed. All I could manage was one cell phone.

Kat helped us out by doing two wonderful performances and one that exploded up in the air and has not come down yet. Umm what did Simon say? The best vocal performance in the entire series...(which means including AI 1 to 4) Blew Randy and Paula out too...could not comment anything wrong.

I was calling through my cell phone and got in about 90 times.

International fans.. believe it or not.. The call was free! Haha .. I don't know if it is my provider or all provider will do the same. I bought a prepaid number and after 3 hours of voting my balance was still the same! And I'm sure that the call got in because I kept hearing Kat's voice.. Haha ... Love it!

I'll be voting using 2 phones next week! We gotta vote harder ... Let's make Kat the next American Idol!

In the Philadelphia region the lines were busier than ever. I noticed the same trend Bill (bcollan) did. I was dialing my cell and land line at the same time, but kept better track of the land line. I got about 10 votes in right after Taylor finished, then it went busy for 1/2 hour straight. I only got 25 total first hour, and 28 the 2nd hour. The lines were the busiest I have ever seen them.

i hope this is a good thing.

Hey guys! I'm from Maryland - I've been around this place for weeks but only now registered. I am with Verizon and I was able to get in 106 votes last night, voting for 2 hours with my house phone. I tried to distribute them equally between the three numbers, but I found that 5 was the most open. It costs 10 cents per call on my dad's business phones and unfortunately he wouldn't let me use them. I did, however, sneak in a few votes on those. I have a great feeling about tonight!

I had to strike a compomise and honor my committment to the hockey team I play for so I was only able to text for about 45 mins. I gotta figure I put out 250 votes. When she makes the finals next week, I wlll have to bag in sick and hit the voting for the full 2 hours. Anyone else still tearing up with "Over the Rainbow"? Brilliant! Too juch anxiety on Wednesdays though...

Brilliant! Too juch anxiety on Wednesdays though...
I hear ya Coach - I am extremely confident about tonight, but I find myself grinding through Wednesdays with a bit of anxiety.
She did what she had to do....Sang great, Nailed SOTR and gave those Misty eyes to the crowd, and looked very HOT the entire night.

Last night was great!! KAT WAS BACK!!!  It was great to see the "old Kat".  I was soooo worried about her last week. 

Anyway, I live in Texas and I usually ALWAYS get through on my land line very easily. 
Last night was a bit more busy, BUT for the most part I got through every time.... I did not keep track of how many calls - I have in the past with a little "mark" on paper, but I started feeling like that detracted from my voting. 

BTW, I started getting votes in 15 minutes before the show even ended!!! I was shocked.  I voted for 2 hours and 15 minutes straight so I feel confident that I got in at least around 500 votes.  Also, my daughter voted with her cell, BUT there are always many more busy signals with the cell phone.  She probably got in about 20 votes. 

LAND LINE AND TEXTING THE WAY TO GO!!!!

The event I held here in California last night reeled in a grand total of 54,581 votes for Katharine. 11 votes for Taylor. 0 votes for Elliot. The person that had the most votes for Katharine won the $500.00 with 1381 text votes in the 2 hours. thats a 1091 vote average for each of the 50 cellphones we gave out to vote for Kat. WOO!

She is worth it.

Technically, I made about 800 callings with 600 votes to Kat based on statistic during last 9 minutes.  My fingers were frozen after dialing and jumping among three numbers.

Wow!  That's what I'm talkin bout!  Awesome job Scott.!

I texted on two phones for 2 hours.  I'm not sure exactly how many votes I got in because my phone doesn't tell me and my account isn't up to date on the website, but for last week I got in 1650 so it's probably in that ballpark.  I also recruited my mom and sister to vote, but I haven't found out how they did yet.

I didn't keep track myself, but I'm pretty sure I got in more than last time (which was 60). I just wish I could text but I get nextel for very cheap since my uncle works there so I need to keep it

Here in Massachusetts, I couldn't get a vote in for the first half hour, all three lines, busy, busy , busy! I did manage to get in about 50 votes over two hours, which means I tried about 500 times, I can't keep count, I just kept hitting redial over and over til I couldn't vote anymore. If we did get her through to the finals, I will go and get a cingular phone, even though I have verizon, and can't really afford it. She's worth it. She's awesome, and it's too bad that people are ignorant and don't appreciate that this girl has a voice of her own, and should be compared to no one. Go Kat !!!!!! We love you!!!

I think it will be a horserace on Tuesday come voting time with Idol once again not having enough T1"s to handle what can be another 50 million votes...This could work in our favor as I do believe Taylor has more fans overall (Its a guy thing and jeaous girls) but not as dedicated as Kat fans.

Tuesday if you are on Lan Line and you know you have a vote that will register hang up right away...This releases teh line to take a vote again...If all things were equal and I hope they are the more times the line is open the better...If you listen to the whole thanks for voting for me speach you are in reality taking votes away...It is a mater of seconds which could mean beacuop votes

Yes, you can hang up as soon as you hear "thank you". A MOD over at the official AI boards confirmed this. Also, remember guys, we have 4 HOURS to vote for the finale!
