Tips for using skype FOR NEXT WEEK! (east coast time vote)

When you have dialed all 3 numbers, open the CALL LIST window when u dial a number and busy DIRECTLY DOUBLE CLICK OTHER NUMBER no need to hang up and continue this pattern until u get kats voice say thank you, then u hang up. and start again. works like a charm for me!

Netzerovoice tips (west coast time vote): listen to the operator till finish u will hear kats voice and redial again.

2 hours, 2 cell phones. I dialed as fast as I could. I was going to borrow my friend's Cingular phone, but it turned out to be Sprint! BOO!

Still, I did the best I could. My arm has never been so exhausted. I voted McPhurious

I only made 20+ votes using skype.. line so busy.. but i recruited some of my chatmates who using cingular live to text vote at 5702 and they promise to help me voting for our girl!

I mainly texted...sorry guys, I was only able to text about 275. I didn't start til about 10 minutes after the show. I did get thru twice on my short texting breaks. This was the first time I've voted more than 5 times.

voted for the full 2 hours for the first time.  Busier than ever for most of the time, but I got in 41 votes.

btw, download the MP3 of SOTR if you can.  As great as it sounded on TV, it sounds twice as amazing on the MP3.

I dialed my phone for two hours straight, using all three numbers and I did not get through once. Not even one time. Zero, zilch, nada! That's a good sign, right?

The land lines in NJ were busier than I've ever seen. Only got in about 35 votes / line for 70. Of course the text lines were much better! I got in about 900 text votes on each Cingular phone for 1800 text votes.

Grand total 1870 votes.

i just started voting at 9:52am coz i had to go for my test at 8am, but i rushed back to vote for Kat right after my test was done. And i thought there would be 3 hours for voting....Anyway i've got 61 votes using skype and 34 votes using NetZero....total votes = 95 (this is a really great encouragment to me coz i've only got 38 votes last week [using skype to vote])

that's weird! i thought last week's lines were much busier than this week's! i've only got 38 votes for Kat (using skype) last week throughout the voting hours (2 hours), with more than 650 calls. And this week I just vote for 1 hour and I got much votes than last week...anyway I have done my best to vote for Kat and let's pray for her now...

I got in 78 votes going 2 hours full blast on redial with one landline and two cell phones. Definitely the busiest its ever been here. If the West Coast doesn't pull their girl on through I will be very disappointed.

This was my first time ever voting (for anything with my phone) and I got through twice and sent a TM.   Line was very busy.  Spent most of my time staring at the words 'redialing'. 

I also mentioned her on my site.  I would like to add more about her soon.

I started voting right after Taylor stopped singing and did not stop dialing until 11 PM EST. I think I only got through about 35 times. But got the busy signal and busied out many more times.

Also, I never got the American Idol message after the 10 minutes of dialing.. I hope everything is alright even if I didn't get this message. I did get a vibrating sound after about 10-15 minutes so that may have been it.

Holy bejesus, 900 text votes on a Cingular phone?  Wow. 

I just wanted all you McPhans to know that not only are you making a difference getting your own votes in, but all these posts have me psyched to go all out tonight.  I've never texted before, so you can count on HUNDREDS more votes generated just from me alone.  All because you are all so dedicated and are great at setting an example.

I'm in the Hawaiian time zone, so I still have a few hours before I start.  So wish me luck. 

Again, you should all feel satisfied that these posts really are making a HUGE difference.  What you're doing matters, and I'm sure Kat and her family all appreciate it very much.
