It's a very versatile group! This question had been started on another message board, and the results were really interesting. Lots of people posted, and fan ages ranged from 12 into the late 50's. There are a lot of fans in the middle-age group who said they loved Katharine from the time of her first audition. That's me, too. I'm 32, a female. Anyone else care to say? (Also, I think she is attracting a more mature audience b/c she does seem to be a mature person with a broad range of talent, doesn't have to stick to just one genre of music, and so forth. She gives such originality and star quality! To me, there's a true "American Idol.") KEEP GOING, KATHARINE, YOU'RE DOING WONDERFULLY WELL AND WE'RE BEHIND YOU ALL THE WAY!

i think generally McPhee fans are more mature but there is a disadvantage, i think. I don't think the adults will actually sit through 2 hrs to vote NON STOP for McPhee... not all at least... So she might be booted off earlier. Which i don't think it is fair. But people like Kellie Pickler will have underaged teenage mutants, to vote like crazy and for all the wrong reasons, e.g she's cute, she's had a sad story.. blahblahblah i hope she goes home soon, so that there will be a fair fight among the rest...
