And it's also so much more than just her outward beauty. She has depth of inner beauty, and I think that is what we see in so many of the things we like about her. She did look elegant tonight and gave a tremendous performance. I kept hoping she would really bring the "it" or "wow" factor tonight that the judges keep talking about, and she really did. I love it too that she seems so open and honest with her emotions; when the judges were giving her feedback after she sang tonight, at one point I thought she was about to tear up and cry. I know it's just out of happiness and probably pure relief, but it's such an honest expression of the fact that she just got up there on stage and did what she knows she can really do and then was praised for it, and it was well-deserved! One of my posts in the "Letters to Katharine" forum was about her personality shining through, and it really, really does. Spectacular performance tonight! The whole package!
