Here's a piece of the interview made by mtv.com on Paris when she got eliminated. dunno if this was posted already, or y'all already have read this. but anyway... i just took the part where she described the 4 finalists left. so yeah. Q: Can you tell us your thoughts on the final four? A: Elliott possesses something so deep within himself that for him to be able to do the things he does when he's on that stage, I honor him for that. He keeps it real. Taylor, that's my big brother. He has so much soul in him, and again, he keeps it real. With both of them, they both have a sense of home, you never feel like you're out of place. Katharine, very sweet, very classical. She's just Katharine. She's the beauty queen. Chris is definitely the rocker. He's so intense with what he does, and that's what makes him a great person. Go KAT! Final 2!

That's good. The rumors about Kat being a snob are seeming to die down. I guess it's hard to keep something going with nothing to back it up and so much working against it. =) And, yes she is definitely a beauty queen. =) Thanks for posting this.

I certainly hope so. But I'm expecting they'll come back after tomorrow's performance, especially if she hits another home run and is expected to be in the top 3. You know, these bashers will never give up.

I never got the impression that she was a snob! And neither did people i talk to! Let's hope thats true for everyone else, because obviously she's not! She's so sweet and beautiful of course! I like that Paris said the sweetheart!

Every time I repost one of these on the IMDb somebody tears me a new derriere for it, but I figure there are also people who read just to see what everybody's saying. I like to point out that no matter what they think, these are comments from people who actually know Katharine in some way or another, and the bashers just see a two dimensional figure on tv. (It's still a nice figure though.) So, Peisha's her mother, and maybe Paris doesn't want to be known as a bad-mouthed little whatever (or maybe she's really just a nice kid). The bashers have an agenda as well--theyr'e jealous, they're trolls who like to get people mad, they just have some nameless grudge against K. for whatever reason. Everybody has an agenda. I'm just trying to keep things balanced. Then somebody PM's me and informs me that 'You're obsessed! Do you know that?' And I answer, 'Yes, I do. And your point is?' Heck, I'm old enough to be one of those people who inundated NBC with calls and letters back in the 70's and saved Star Trek! Some people just don't understand fan mentality, I guess.

You know what's interesting?.. On the myspace American Idol group, there was a thread started for 'Katharine haters/bashers' It ended up being a long thread with about two or three people trying to bash her followed by a whole lot of people defending her and asking for proof of what they were saying. It was so great to see that! I think the word is definitely getting out that Kat is a very sweet person. I'm glad to read what Paris said, it can only help!!
