Awesome...now if everyone of these 1800 members could text message for Kat next week, we should have at least 2.3 million votes in to Kat (1800 x 1320 - average nasaman text vote count for 2 hours) just from this message board. And then a couple hundred more votes on landlines will give her another 360,000 votes...just from this message board. Wohoo...!!!!

Hmmmm.... I wonder how many visits this might correspond to? If I had to make a wild guess, I'd say 120,000 or so, because only members can post and the ratio of visitors to members seems to hover between roughly 15:1 and 25:1. Using the median of 20:1, the answer would be 20 x 6,000 = 120,000. Any way you look at it, that's a lot of eyeballs!!!

Oh, and......   sociologist's studies have concluded that, if as few as 1% of a given population's members are dedicated to a cause, it can influence the entire population. If we assume even our visitors are pretty dedicated (I would think they are, compared to the 28 million or so voting that never visit a fan site), and that their "influence leverage" is 100:1 (i.e., 100% is influenced by 1%), the possible number of people KMF has influenced to consider supporting Kat could be 12 million! Last time I looked, that was more than the total vote count for any one contestant!!!

There have actually been 830,000 "hits", and over 200,000 unique visitors. Unique visitors = unique IP.  Last Thursday we had 20,000 unique IPs, which was the most ever for one night.
