Usually there are 500-600 people online minimum on a Monday evening, and today we have 85.  Just because Katharine was one of the top 2 vote getters doesn't mean she is going to make it to the finale.

We are down to 5 left. 4 more weeks until the finale at The Kodak Theater.

We want to see Katharine McPhee in the final 2, and she wins "American Idol."

I've noticed that not all of the members who are online show up as being online....for example, I am online and logged in now and have been for a little while, yet I am not showing up in the "Online Now" box. Refreshing the screen doesn't fix that for me, either. I wonder if more people are on sometimes than what shows up.

Hopefully your're wrong Chad. I wasn't on last night because I'm in Europe on business, so I'm 6+ hours ahead of you guys. I think it may just be overload from last week. Thousands were on almost continuously after the show on Tuesday and many are worn out.  Maybe people are just taking a day off to recuperate.

Same for me...logged on...not showing up as such...wazup wit dat!? It's hard to imagine that the site attendance has dropped so drastically...seems like a glitch in the counter...when is the new server going to be up and running?

The slow down of the server was probably a factor.

The reason it doesn't show you guys logged in is by design. It only shows other people logged in.

Server will be set up between 8-11pm EST tonight, during the AI/voting hours. Should be ready to go by 11pm at latest.

No...I don't see it now -  and your status indicator is 'green' beside your user name - and I don't think I've ever seen you listed in the Online Now.

Noni....during the past few days it has been very tough to stay on this board because the server is so slow. I have had to refresh my buttons very often because numerous times I find erros when I got back to forums or other threads. It has been slow downloading too. The server also ate my posts a couple of times and yes I agree that sometimes it does not show me when I am online. No I don't think we've become complacent just the server drives me up the wall.
