So, today I was doing what I do best: thinking about Katharine....

I was thinking about how different life would be without Katharine. I started thinking about things like "I wouldn't know about jazz music" or "I wouldn't be on my way to becoming an intuitive eater" but then something actually serious hit me.

Everyone needs to be needed. It's just a fact. Everyone wants to serve a purpose in someone else's life. Last year, I felt like I had helped Carrie make it to that American Idol crown, but after that, all I did was buy a copy of the single, buy the album, and stay a dedicated fan. Just the usual right? Well, I might have been obsessive, but still, no big deal...

But, with Katharine, we are constantly there, buying the singles like CRAZY, stopping negative speculation, sending our love with gifts and letters, and just being a constant support system to each other.

I feel like Katharine needs me like she needs everyone one of us. I don't feel like anybody NEEDS me, but I feel like she does.

So, when I say that I get up every morning because of Katharine McPhee, I mean it. Not because she's the only thing in my life, but I feel like I'm somebody to her. She might not know me by name, but she appreciates and needs me. And that is the greatest feeling in the world.

Okay...sorry for being random...just my thoughts!
