I have to comment that I thought Katharine showed fabulous showmanship on the night of the finale when the winner was announced.  The command with which she took the stage in every segment was, in my opinion, world-class professional entertainment. Every move, the dancing... her singing and performance, the grace with which she took second place... outstanding.  Right to her duet with Meatloaf, which I thought was as stunning as her gown.

I don't know how nervous Katharine FELT, but I will say this: she certainly pulled it off as if she had been doing it all her life with such natural ease, that she gets my vote for least nervous at what would reasonably be one of the most nervous times of her life. I think she's going to do great in both singing/performance and acting. I was highly impressed.


Simon was definitely right on standards night, Kat truely is like a returning pro...

She did take second place in a very classy way, at that point she was already a star so it really didn't matter.

I think she was relax during the finale night. No more pressure from the competetion. She showed what she can do on stage naturally.

It was nice of this SPatroller to post that. In reality, I think everyone on AI really gets along and specially Tay and Kat cuz they were in it till the end. While everyone else left and went home, they were left at the mansion together so that they probably got to really know each other. It is obvious that they like each other even in their performances. It's just us fans that are bitter about the SP's sometimes and they are too about us.
