So, you know how everyone always goes crazy over the guys "stares" and "pouts"? Well, the guys are pretty good at it, but why hasn't anyone said anything about Katharine? If you watch her, she does the same thing and I'm sure she leaves the men...happy...just look at her...

Since the original photo has disappeared, and I can't find my copy of the one I think might have been there, let me suggest this as a pretty good substitute. I know, I'v eposted it other places, but stil, you don't really object to seeing it again, do you?

I'm not sure I'd even call that a stare. There has to be another word. A stare is more like a sword thrust. This is something that sneaks up on you and does a slow burn but kills you just as dead. You'd think I'd be able to find a word.

Back in the 1940's Lauren Bacall was given the nickname- "The Look".  She had those stares and no one could come up with the right word for it. Perhaps this is happening again with "Katharine's stares".

Movie actors like Paul Newman, Jimmy Stewart, Humphrey Bogart, Katharine Hepburn, Lauren Bacall and Bette Davis make me want to live in the era they lived but I could have been just as inspired even now while I watch their work in films.
