hi guys, first of all, i want to thank and congratulate all of you diehard mcphans for votin nonstop once again, making her safe for another week! give yourselves a gooood pack on the back, job well done!
i would just like to tell you what i've been feeling lately.. well, last night (im over here in Asia) as i watched the 7 perform, i kinda was sensing a bit that Chris is going to be in the Bottom 3, and Ace will be going home, everything that happened. i have been sensing that each time Simon finds to surprisingly praise or give positive comments on contestants that he's almost ALWAYS been cruel or not nice to (in terms of their performances) like Melissa, and Kevin, on the night of the results shows right after they have received a generous "thumbs up" from Simon, they always end up as the ones who go home. and so with Ace, right after Simon said that he thought it was "charming", i immediately told myself that he's next to go home.
now, with Chris, being in the Bottom 2, just like Kat before, i am really sensing now that they will end up in the finale. i dont really have a rational explanation for this but im just feeling it will end up that way. although i really still cannot sense who will be the winner this year.
last year i predicted that Bo and Carrie will be the final2 with Carrie as the winner, early in the top24. and it happened eventually..
2 years ago, i predicted Fantasia as the winner even when LaToya and Jennifer Hudson still in the competition that time..
i hope i am not jinxing anything or anyone, but i just had to share this to you guys, it's kinda freaking me out. does anyone of you guys feel or have felt the same way? i hope my feelings this year are right though, and i will tell yall when i have sensed who will be the next American Idol, i sure hope (as of now it is Kat)... As God is my witness, as soon as I saw Katharine's audition and her reaction and the energy she exuded, I said to my girlfriend who I was watching with that she was going to win. I just had that feeling and hope I'm right. I got another good feeling about Paris when she auditioned but wasn't sure if she would win, but felt she would go very far. I think it will be Chris and Katharine in the final 2 but I was shocked he was in the bottom 2.
As for last year, I absolutely felt during the top 24 that Carrie was going to win. I almost felt that she was being protected from anything bad from happening if that makes sense. I agree it is something you can't touch but you can feel. Of course I wish I could do that with the lottery. I only started watching in year 3 but really had no feeling about Fantasia.
