No relenting from now on. There are no more "weak hands". Each remaining contestant is very talented with a strong fan base, so the difference between #1 and going home is going to be mere percentage points. We need to scrounge every vote we can for Kat!

All we really have to do is get some exposure for Kat. She doesn't really need us to convince people to vote for her, but we just need to get people not currently suffering from the McPheever to listen to her and that will surely change.

I made sure I let some of my friends listen to a Kat performance or two before Tuesday night, and I got 5 of my friends to vote for her! =) I plan on having some more converts before next Tuesday. They all fell in love with her after seeing her perform, and that's what Kat needs.

So this week - everyone pick a few friends and send them a link for a Kat performance, give them a video, or anything to expose them to our lovely Katharine. Be sure to tell them she needs their votes if they like her (of course they will, =p).

I can go back to last season and Carrie Underwood was the only person never to be in the bottom 3 all season. Last season's runnerup, Bo Bice, was in the bottom 3, and Carrie Underwood cruised home.

Let's hope that Katharine McPhee goes all the way to May 24 and wins.

Yea next week is gonna be much tougher! We definitely cant split votes even others do good cuz it might hurt Kat's chance. If you wanna see her to be in the finale, power vote for her next week no matter what! We must make her in the top 3 group next week!

I'm not kidding. Our votes need to be at least DOUBLED in order for her not to be in the bottom 3 (or be in the top 3). With Chris fans waking up this week, it's even harder. I'm not very optimistic, but we still need to fight to the last minute.

I really hope every McPhan will only power vote for one and only one Katharine until she wins the thing. Some fans have 2 favourites and they split votes every week, and some are too much, "I'm a big fan of Katharine but I will vote only if she does great". What the heck? If you are a big fan of her, you will support her no matter what. Even if she had an off nite (she never had one anyway, it's people expect her to outdo herself everyweek) you must still believe that her talent is what this competition about. If you believe in her talent, power-vote for her and help her to get up there. Don't say you're a big fan of her if you don't vote for her, or vote only if she does good. BS.

What is a fan? You are happy for her and vote for her when she has a great time; you'll still be there for her and vote for her when she has a bad time. (So now you know why Kellie has never been in the bottom 3? Kellie is very lucky to have that many dedicated and loving fans behind her).

So do you really mean it when you said I love Katharine?

(Now many people think our girl will go home next week, PROVE THEM WRONG, okay?)

^^agreed.  Kellie & Taylor have a very loyal fanbase. However Kat, Elliott & Paris do not. One misstep, any of them could be gone.  I'm nervous about next week. I actually want her getting the pimped spot next week rather than this week. I hope she doesn't go first though. It's critical. Paris & Chris fans will vote like mad next week.

I think the difference will be the voters with no real favorites. They vote based purely on each week's performances and not favorites, so Kat has to be consistently good from now on. Anyone who's not great from now on is probably out, and we HAVE to keep up with voting for 2 hours and text messaging (I do both). Hopefully that puts her over the top.

I still wanna know how I could get 870 votes like some others that said they got that many votes. I don't think I make more than 50 calls for 2 hours. My fingers are not that fast and I can't text vote because I have Verizon. So...you tell me how to get that many votes and I will be more than happy to cast 870 votes each week. Until then, the best I could do is 40 or 50. Promise.

Very nice JADED....

While I was away, and limited to a cellphone in a valley, I had several of my friends vote "for me". They know how die-hard I am about Mcphee, so they stepped up for me. I might just tell them that I have to go away on business every Tuesday till the end of the competition so they'll POWER vote for Kat for 2 hours.......(just a thought).

Anyway - I stated this last Wednesdy morning when Dialidol had Chris in the bottom 3, if he really does show up there, his fans are going to blow up the phone lines.....Looks like this is going to happen this week.

I'm a Canadian, but I've convinced an American friend living in Canada to convince her dad to vote!

And next week, I'm going to convince my Canadian friend who's parents are living in San Fran to vote.
