I was laughing so hard at all of these latest entries. --You call your KMF board friends by their first name initial...and start doing that to everybody else you know ("Hey, H, M, J and Y...can I talk to you minute?") (Gregorian - Hahaha, that's a good one!) ... when someone at works asks, "I wonder if she's really sick?" about an absent co-worker, and you quickly reprimand them with, "NO NEGATIVE SPECULATION, PLEASE!" (Mutt - I could totally picturing you MUTTering that one, Steve! ) ...When you're resigned to the fact that you're screenname is the deciding factor of your gender (poor Nthlithawk - the girl who everyone thinks is a boy just because a predatory bird is part of her screenname!)

Heehee!! - when you're at church and the preist's sermon is about the Da Vinci Code and they start speculating and automatically you think "NO NEGATIVE SPECULLATION!" but then you remember that that only applies to KMF and then you start thinking about KMF instead of the sermon... - when you receive a fortune cookie that says, "your ideas are worthwhile!" you think, "That's a sign that I need to post on the forums more!" - when you are completely mesmerized by Carrie Underwood, yet you keep calling her Katharine...it's because their name start with the same sound, right?

...when you sit your laptop next to your desktop so you don't miss a word in live chat while you scan your picture for Laurie's project. ...when you miss seeing Kat so much that you put on a yellow dress, curl your hair, wear long earrings, paint your toenails blue, bite off your fingernails, lick your lips, and do a little spin dance because it's the most memories you can think to pack into one adventure. ...when you suffer daily through Elisabeth's View commentary, just in case they give an update on when we can see Kat.

--You already knew Nothlithawk was a girl--yet thought the SN had something to do with actor Chris Noth, literature and a hawk. Then you realize that she could have meant Gothlithawk...since the 'G' and the 'N' aren't all that far away on the keyboard. Also, the letters K, A and T are still in there. --You check the members list to see how many 'Katharines' are registered here--and discover that there's only one that registered in February and never came back. And then you realize that you can come back without signing in and anybody knowing you're lurking reading ridiculous thoughts why your fans are addicted to Kat/KMF... --You pondered how many older viewers there were watching 'AI' (70+) who expected someone to bring out a tray of Meatloaf (a new Muppet?) to duet with Kat in the May finale. --You imagine all these horrible scenarios of 'AI' execs foaming at the mouth that KMF has all the officiality instead. Thoughts of getting strange phone calls asking you to be careful starting your car in the morning cross your mind.

... it becomes your mission to raise the "view" count above 2000 for your all-time favorite thread, "You know you're addicted to Kat/KMF if..." ... the "Go, Kat, go!" snippet of the Elvis medley runs in your head on a non-stop loop whenever you want to feel joy and happiness inside. ... you put 3 viruses on your work computer just because you were trying to link your fellow McPhans to an obscure online interview with Katharine's American Idol friend Crystal Stark. ... you give a copy of Kat's CD to your boss, unsolicited. The next day, he sounds really impressed and tells you that he really likes "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". Although you are a heterosexual man, you almost *CLAP like Paula*. You are thrilled you created a new fan, and relieved that if he ever finds out about the viruses, he won't be as mad. ... you meticulously plan out how much time, energy and access to cocoa beans it would take to actually build Kat a house of chocolate. ... you have formed an 8-dog team of Siberian Huskies and Alaskan Malamutes, even though you live in Hawaii, thinking that Kat might mistake you for Paul Walker. You hope she doesn't notice that you substituted a surfboard for the sled... and that you look absolutely nothing like Paul Walker.

--You spend more time telling Nothlithawk that these are written on the fly than it takes to write these on the fly. --You jump on the bandwagon of calling members here by their screen name AND their real first name. That means Mutt Steve, Vadia Nancy, AI12345 Laurie, et al. So far, lobbying for people to stop calling me Gregoriancant Greg works...even though being called Gregorian still persists. --Time was spent listening to KMF's Kat Radio and figuring out why Kat's voice is deeper on the jukebox's version of 'OtR.' Then, you realize that 'OtR' actually sounds great with a deeper voice...and you start searching on Amazon to see if Barry White ever did a cover of it... --You start having images of Kat playing the character who shoots J.R. in the movie remake of 'Dallas.' Unfortunately, your dream scene goes awry and she actually shoots a hole in the floor where oil starts spraying into the room. --You try to retract statements made on the 'AI' board that Dial Idol was a false oracle during 'AI'--when Kat actually seemed to think it was possibly accurate. Also, you realize that mouths hitting the floor in surprise may not be COMPLETE surprise after all.
