Here's a thought.

You know those little blue stars under your name and how they indicate how much time you spend here and how many posts you've made? 

Well, they only go up to six.  That means you're a Katharine Addict.

I think seven stars would mean you're a Katharine Lunatic.  You don't see those people on the forum here.  They're off somewhere getting their food cut up and fed to them, and then they get wheeled out into the sunshine for a couple of hours, then back in for a nap.

I can't wait.
Katharine's summer is full of hope, full of potential, and promises to provide many bouquets to grace the home that I call my heart.

--You know you're addicted when you actually have Mutt convince you that you DID invent the Gregorian Calendar that usurped the Julian Calendar...which was actually called the Katharine Calendar before Julian hid the evidence.

--When someone says you have an "in"--even though you're the only one who knows that you're writing checks to Sean Hardy and Laurie for providing that P.O. Box address to send Kat letters.

--Aware of all the KMF board quirks and have them stored in your head as automatic reflexes. (Long post...accidental log off...log back in...copy...paste...)

--You call your KMF board friends by their first name initial...and start doing that to everybody else you know ("Hey, H, M, J and Y...can I talk to you minute?")

--Actually aware that when we get seven stars here, the real upgrade is becoming one of those musical chair editors who get to tinker with Kat's letters into foreign languages.

--You wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat worrying that someone will start 'AI' board role-playing threads at KMF like Kat McDonald's, McCourt, or Farm Animal McPheed Store.

--You look at the 'guests' visiting here and sit and ponder how many of those people are media people lurking from the rags and other hopefully more reputable reporters.

--Other needless thoughts of Kat giving Rita Cosby a lozenge.

And a serious one: Hoping (or just listening) to see if Kat's familiar voice starts emanating through a public sound system somewhere. Once it happens, I'll know her voice when I hear it.

lmao!!   These two crack me up.  Especially that thought that passes through your mind.  The best is that I'm convinced you always yell the "EVER!" part in your head.  Sometimes even out loud, if you're sleepy.
