So I read this from the other forum. Just thought I'd share. Also I'd like to know what you guys think about this.

Ever since season 2, the contestant who was in the bottom two Top 10 night left Top 7 night (except season 1, the bottom two went home on Top 10 night).

Season 2: Kimberly Caldwell
Season 3: Jennifer Hudson
Season 4: Anwar Robinson
Season 5: Katharine McPhee???

So what do you think? You might think that this is just a coincidence... it was a whole bunch of CRAP, NONSENSE, RUBBISH etc. But hey don't you think that the pattern is freaky? lol

So let's break the pattern, McPhans! Show people that it is wrong! Someone said one thing right - McPhans who come online already did their best to vote for Kat every week, it's the McPhans who do not come online don't know the real situation. We all know that Kat is gonna shine next week, but some (or many???) of her fans might still think that she will be safe and won't power-vote for her.

My thought is...

Ask your friends, family, strangers or even ENEMIES to vote for her if you could. flowers.gif

Don't SLACK OFF if she ranked on the top at Dialidol.com. no.gif

VOTE even harder if she ranked in the bottom at Dialidol.com. yes.gif

Don't get depressed if the line isn't busy. You are getting your votes in. w00t.gif

In short, VOTE NON-STOP for Katharine until she wins the damn thing.

That is ironic, and even more ironic is that, imo, all 3 of those people are good singers. They were all shockers in a way when they went home. Kimberly Caldwell was pretty good, we all know Jennifer Hudson was the upset of Season 3, and Anwar was a technically good singer just like Kat. We have to prove this wrong! I don't know what I'd do if she got voted off!

Those ppl are good singers...and people thought they were safe....that was the main problem.


We are encouraging supporters to NEVER EVER THINK SHE IS SAFE!!, and always always do power voting, no matter how well she performed. This is the only way we can get her shower into those confetti's at the last episode!

I really really wish that I could be voting on Tuesday nights. I wanna feel like I'm doing something to help out my fellow McPhans and most importantly Kat herself! Tuesday nights are always my band practice night so, 1. I have to tape AI and 2. I don't get home till around 11pm so it'd be too late for me to do anything about it. If I canceled band practice for AI, my band would kick me out...hah. I'll try and figure something out.

On a side note, how much is it to call and vote? I don't have cingular service but I am calling from a cell phone. If I ever did vote, how much would each call/vote be?

I think that this Tuesday night is a make or break night for Katharine McPhee. She has to give the performance of a lifetime, and she is in her "comfort zone", "The Great American Songbook." If she could pull off a performance like she did when she did "Come Rain Or Come Shine," back in week 2 of the finals, we will be in good shape.

Please vote for Katharine like heck this Tuesday.

All last season I kept telling my daughter that Carrie would win because she was the best SINGER (remember Simon says this is a singing competition). Bo was all cute and danced well, but Carrie out-sang him and everyone else. Kat is miles ahead of all the other contestants in vocal ability, control, personality, looks, and a broad fan base. I don't see how Paris has lasted so long; Chris is a rocker but limited range and ability...and his vibrato reminds me of a sheep; Taylor can dance but has trouble staying on tune; Kellie is adorable but narrow musically; Elliot's a good guy but has limited stage presence; and Ace is the best of the men but just not charismatic enough. Can we ease up on voting ?..... NOT. Because all the very young will keep the lines hot for their crushes without taking talent into consideration. I totally support Katharine all the way and think she will win. I've been around a lot of performers during my life and know she'll be a success with or without the Idol crown.....and if the unthinkable happens where she leaves Idol, I'll always be one of her loyal fans.

Amen to that. That was a sizzling showstopper if I've ever seen one. Maybe just a BIT more bounce to keep the young folks happy...

 NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We CANNOT let this happen! There are over 800 members on this site, not to mention the many Kat Pack fans, plus all the other people out there who vote.... WE MUST VOTE LIKE WE DID A COUPLE WEEKS AGO AFTER SEEING KATHARINE WAS IN DANGER OF GOING HOME. People just can't let this happen to her during the week that is her *main* genre: the jazz standards week. I wish we could get that word out to the non-committed general public. VOTE LIKE EVERYTHING TUESDAY NIGHT! We have to! If you love her at all, please be committed!

For whatever the Dial Idol predictions are worth, with Katharine being in spot #3 tonight, surely she has broken the curse of the bottom 2 in week 10 going home in week 7! Surely she won't be going home this week! It took the amazing "Katharine the Great" to do it!
