Many are going to say Pickler.  But I am thinking (from a country boy's perspective), they will go to Taylor and Chris.  Pickler is a little more of the newer pop country, and Bucky was more of the original country.  I think those voting for Bucky like rock and like how funny Taylor is on stage (and the fact he is from the south as well helps him). It reminds them of the karokee bars they go out to every friday.  Not that Taylor is a poor singer - he is awesome - but like everyone has said, he looks drunk a lot.   I hope some of the Bucky votes go to Ms. McPhee, but it won't be because of similiar tastes in music.

Let me put it a different way. If Katharine gets voted out, I am not going to spend my time voting for someone else.

ok, so what I am getting at is Bucky received, say, 1,000,000 votes, I would doubt that a million votes would go to others. Of course, some people have more than one favorite, so they would have more time to vote for their other favorite. Others will pick a new favorite now that Bucky is out. But I imagine there has to be a large number that will simply stop voting.

Good point...and I'm sure there are some that will lose interest and/or stop voting...but I would bet the majority would switch their preference to their 'second choice'...as you say, most people may have a favorite...but they also have several others that they appreciate...and though the number of voters might drop...I still think there is a sizeable number who would continue to participate and support someone else.

Anyway, I suspect Kellie will pick up some Bucky votes from those who have geographic loyalty (NC) and appreciate similar genre; Chris may also benefit somewhat from his NC connection....if voters are going to shift their vote based on similar personality, then Taylor, Kat and Elliott will likely share some benefit...I don't see Ace or Paris as being major benefactors of the vote shift from Bucky's departure...

I'll miss Bucky...he improved as the show went along and I liked his style of singing...he was a nice guy..

I didn't realize Chris was from N.C.. the majority of bucky votes will go to Chris, with some going to Kelly because of their Hometown Southern Roots connections.
Ivegotmcpheever made a great point with the # of votes being distributed. The typical Bucky fan probably got 200 votes in on Tuesdays, now they will either not vote at all, or throw 5 - 10 votes to Chris/Kelly/Taylor.

KAT would have greatly benefited from Ace votes I think if he were to go. That guy has to be stressed out, being in the bottom 3 for 3/4 out of the 5 weeks.

My guess would be Kellie or Taylor. Somehow I don't see them going to Chris because he seems a little too modern for Bucky fans since Bucky was pretty much like old country roots, but ya never know.

"Bucky and Kellie.. Kellie and Bucky...." I've heard these two names together so many times, as much from fans as from non-supporters. I definitely think Kellie's getting a fair lot of his votes.

By logic of genre, the answer would be Kellie.

But not all support goes by genre alone. Just like not all Carrie fans are Bucky or Kellie fans this year...

I might not be from America. But if I am, I would give my Bucky votes to Katharine. Yup, I was a Bucky fan. Still am. But since he's gone and if I can actually vote, I will vote for Kat. Definitely not for the Queen of the Living Dead  or the pretty boy with the scar

I think Chris/Kellie/Taylor will benefit from Bucky's departure. Kat is more likely to benefit if Ace or Elliot leaves.

hey guys.. i don't know if my posting is appropriate to be under this topic or not.. but anyways, i just read TWoP forum and there they had a website which shows Simon's last interview. Particularly in which he said Kat's days are numbered since she's sounding too perfect and that she's really singing. Simon is favouring Paris to be the winner now.  well.. let's prove it's not true guys! lets vote like crazy

The most likely person to gain Bucky's votes is, of coursee, Kellie. However, I think Taylor will benefit as well
