...I REALLY like My Destiny. No, I don't just like the words because they have meaning to Katharine's fans. And no, I don't just like the studio version because of its polished production values. I like the whole package: the music, the lyrics, the slight cheesiness, the AI version, the studio version, the way Kat delivers it, etc., etc. On the night of the AI final I didn't feel this way; I felt let down by the song. But gosh dang it, My Destiny really grows on you--cheesiness and all. Maybe it's a testament to what Kat can do musically, but ya gotta give that songwriter some credit too. Gary S.
