Jennie: The link they sent me was to invisionfree.com. I can't keep track of all these sites. Of course it's all a tribute to Katharine's growing popularity, I guess... just hard to keep up. Everyplace has its own flavor.

...so ithe "new" Kat Pak forum is to be either the AI boards from which I and many others are banned at the IP address level and where there is censorship, disapearing threads and bashing from every direction or the official site which will probably be similar to the AI site as well as being run strictly for profit? Those are the options? I had gathered from the talk that there were to be forums in nice little independent places like this, with none of the aforementioned problems. Why is Kat Pak sticking with the bit corporate boards? How about setting up a poll and voting on it? I don't know what the polls in this forum are like but I could set one up that would restrict it to one vote per IP address... I guess I can just lump it if I don't like it!

I believe the official site will be owened and operated by the "owners" of Kats career - 19 productions and RCA records and I suppose FOX/AI too, something like that. It wil be a corporate site run for the purposes of the corporation. Dissent will not be tolerated! Please correct me if I am wrong, this is what I have been hearing. Is there a forum out there from previous AI winners so we can go and take a look?

^^No, I don't know anything specific about the official site. My thinking is if it's Kat's "official" site she should have to approve it. Unless it's part of the AI contract, I don't think they can decide which site is her "official" site. Then again as long as she's under contract it seems they pretty much own her. But I have no idea what I'm talking about here so who knows.

For everyone who wants to know, the Kat Pack originated from the AI board and is still mostly over there, but now Laurie and I have made a myspace for the Kat Pack, which is being set up, I am starting a new thread to put the link up so that way all the information from before on Kat and the pack will be on myspace and no one will have to worry about being banned or having things deleted. Kat's official site I think is approved by her, but that will take awhile before it is brought out, but everyone will know about it.
