What did y'all think of the three groups of three? More or less nervewracking? So this means K is somewhere from fourth to sixth in this week's rankings? With all the furious dialing everyone is reporting, that just amazes me. How do other people manage to get more votes with all you guys wearing our your redial buttons?

She was close to the top this week according to dial idol predictions, but I don't know how accurate they are. But, they got the bottom three exactly right this week.

I wouldn't neccesarily say that other than the bottom 3, the rest are in order. Remember, this is TV. The suspense was, is Katharine/Ace/Bucky the bottom 3? Fox knew that, and exploited it.

I don't believe the groupings meant anything other than the bottom 3. The reason AI put Kat and Ace and Bucky together was because they had all previously been in the bottom 3...so, for "suspense", they wanted the audience to think that Kat's group was the bottom 3 this week. As to Kat's actual position, we will never know for sure, but dialidol.com had her in second place behind Taylor- which is totally believable for me.

How does dialidols get its information? I'm amazed Taylor would be #1 after Country Roads, which he really didn't do all that well on. It didn't show his strength at all. I like him but not the best. Obviously.

Dialidols distributes free auto-dialing software to people which reports back to them the number of times dialed vs the number of times busy. Then they basicly rank the contestants on the percentage of busy signals received, which is a valid, if non-scientific, indicator of the number of votes coming in for each contestant. Chad, I think maybe we should post a sticky FAQ about dialidol.com. I'd write it, but I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow so I'm fairly busy today.

I posed the same question on another thread. I'd have to agree...its all a suspense builder, so that guys like me get on the edge of their seats in anticipation of the decision......"After the Break"..
