I saw this in the New York Daily News this morning.

Katharine will be performing in the Macy's 4th Of July Fireworks Spectacular next Friday, on NBC at 9 pm eastern/pacific, 8 pm central/mountain.

I thought this might interest you.

Macys has a 2 page ad in New York Magazine for the event....small pic of Kat and her co-stars.

Sorry I don't have a scanner and last I looked,the ad was not on Macy's website!

Macys and NBC will start the television advertising blitz over the week end.
Print advertising is down 30%.

It seems that Katharine is getting the highlight performance of the event.

A Dance of Lights for the 4th - New York Sun

The Pops will be accompanied by an assortment of popular recording artists, including country music singer Kenny Chesney; pop musicians Gavin DeGraw, Natasha Bedingfield, and Jordin Sparks, and an "American Idol" finalist, Katharine McPhee, who will perform a slow rendition of "Save the Last Dance for Me" as the famous "Golden Mile" fireworks display bursts over her head.

This appearance friday night on national tv followed up by others and the movie coming out in august is the start of a huge summer of Katharine McPhee
