Instead of studying for a huge test, I have been e-mailing various DJs who are on the radio right now and I got a couple of responses... From KOST 103.5 (they have played Taylor and Elliott); Let me make a few inquiries, Tiffany! Thanks for coasting with me this summer. Your Midday Host, Mike Sakellarides KOST 103.5 FM, L.A., CA I was amazed to get a second email, I didn't even e-mail him back after the first. He actually looked into it! Thanks for your request, Tiffany. I have learned that we are monitoring the AC Chart on this song, and we hope it will be on KOST very soon. Thank you for listening to KOST 103.5! Thanks for posting, Tiffany! I haven't gotten any detailed responses yet myself. Whenever I call I just get the obligatory "you go it" or "I'll see what I can do". People have gotten mixed responsed ranging from "not enough requests" to "lack of push by RCA". I think if there's any doubt we shouldn't leave it up to chance. Let's do what we can as Katharine's hardcore fan base and politely bug the radio stations until we get a response, and then some! I think first and foremost people need to CALL their LOCAL stations, as this has proven to be the most effective method. Random emails from other parts of the country don't carry nearly as much weight. Once you've hit up your local stations then you can help out in other areas. Target stations that have played Love Story and/or Over It first. They are probably the most likely to be receptive. I also like the idea of hitting national radio such as Sirius, XM, and Open House Party! Anyone from anywhere can be a listener! I don't know what game RCA is playing. I just know that we have to play along or they won't support the single! The ball is in our court!

wow tchorpen those are awesome responses!!!!!! esp from kost. i actually called in there a few times for over it and i was on the actual radio..not a request line. it was aweosme lol so i put them on the spot for over it. it was funny. im like ummm CAN YOU PLEASE PLEASE PLAY OVER IT BY KATHARINE MCPHEE!!?!! adn they are like...not sure if we have that one just yet but we will definitely check 4 u. but since they may play it ill start requesting there as i have at kiis.
