Every time I go back and listen to or watch any of Kat's AI performances I am just a complete emotional basket case. It's not even funny, I mean, it's impossible to explain exactly how I'm feeling and what's going through my head, but it's the same every time I listen to them. Ijust get that feeling, because that was before we knew as much about Katharine and we weren't as close to her. It's so weird- but I love it.

Yea, I get that too, or a variation of it anyway. It's weird...like...idk how to explain it either! Maybe it's Kat's presence on stage? I don't know, but it's amazing. I still love going back and watching her old AI performances.

I get those same feelings...it's kind of sentimental to see Kat in the original setting where we discovered her!That amazing command of the stage and the beauty that evolved week after week!My problem..once I start watching the AI perfs,I seem to have to see them all at one sitting;no matter how late it gets!These remain fascinating,vintage Katharine performances!(Do have to mute the judges' comments with IHN,though....can't handle the bull!!)

Whenever I've had a rough day, I like to go back and watch Kat's AI performances and those with Andrea Bocelli. Suddenly, you are transported to a different place and all the "bumps" of the day are forgotten as I become entranced by Kat's performances.

I get that feeling too, whenever I watch her performances on AI or think back on everything...I remember the first time I mentioned Kat to my friends, the first time I voted, the time I cried when she was in the bottom two...the time I ran in the room to the most beautiful voice in the world on SOTR and cried simply because Kat was just that amazing...thinking back on memories always gets me emotional, expecially when I see where I am now with loving Kat. She has done so much for me that I could never ever explain...and it is EXTREMLY emotional for me as well...I think Im gonna cry right now

Your not alone in this, lol that's for sure. I know exactly what you mean but yes it is quite hard to explain. When you go back and see those AI performances and you get all emotional. I don't get emotional (Except when Kat sings "Some Where Over The Rainbow) as much as excited and amazed because every time I watch those AI performances, I am amazed at her talent every time and how much within each week, she has made progress. It's really amazing to compare her AI status to her current status because you see that she has come from so far and has gained so much and how much more we know her since AI.

I remember watching those AI performances and just enjoying every moment of them and from watching them, like all of us here, I wanted to hear that voice in person as well as meet her to see if she is what you see on TV. She is what you see plus MUCH MORE! I never thought that I would ever get the chance to meet the same person who captivated America every week on American Idol and then how fast that experience was but I will always remember it. When you really think about it, it's pretty darn amazing of who we are all fans of at this very moment and will remain to be probably for the rest of our lives.
