Hey McPhans!!

Did anybody happen to read about "Jericho" fans mailing peanuts to CBS studio heads after their favorite show was canceled? See the link below. What a hoot! Wish we could think of something really cute to mail to Idol, Fox and Clive in honor of Kat. That way it would be really fun, not as easy to ignore as emails and probably picked up by the press. Especially if we email the story around to the right contacts. Put your thinking caps on, McPhans.

After all, it's not like we're asking studio reps to go to the expense of bringing a show back on the air when it's not cost effective to do so. We're just making it known to Idol that Kat was greatly missed and WE WANT TO SEE HER NEXT SEASON. Now that's a request they can easily honor. It also let's Idol executives and KAT know that her fan base is alive and well. Let me know your thoughts!! It's time to make a splash for our girl!!! Sure wish we could mail a rainbow!! LOL

Kat fans unite, Teilah

P.S.  JimStraz suggested Kit Kats!! LOL  JandeCBS thought about Hello Kitty things.

Can't you just see the headlines . . . Kat fans ship Kit Kat snacks to Fox!! LOL I love it!

I love Jim's idea. I sent mine before I read his. Kit Kats would be perfect. I think we could send them all to someone in the area who would be willing to deliver however many boxes we end up with. Or each send money to that person who could buy boxes of Kit Kats to deliver. That way someone from the press could be there to reprt it rather than individual deliveries arriving over a period of time. I think it might have more impact. Any thoughts? I have a lot of friends who were not Kat fans during last season who are willing to help us do whatever we decide to do. They, like us, think it was terrible that Kellie, Elliott and Chris were invited to appear and not our girl.

Thanks Tom!!

A bunch of us are throwing around ideas on how to do this! We should probably clear it with Peisha too and let her know our plan of action. I think she and Kat will think it's very cute.

Regarding Idol - The response is fun, non-confrontational and would bring a smile to their faces. Don't you think? It's hard to get mad about a Kit Kat bar! LOL Wish I had one right now!!

I think it's a good idea too but also think it's wise to run it by Peisha first.

Hey Neva!

Yes, I agree. We already have several people who are going to run it past Peisha. Isn't she performing in New York right now? I bet she and Kat will think it's a cute idea. It's not about burning bridges but making a point in a fun way. Just like the Jericho fans, maybe we can find a company that will ship for us so we don't have to worry about everything melting.

Hugs to you, Teilah

^Peisha was still in L.A. through this weekend for her first wave of shows--and then to NYC this coming week for her next shows. And it makes me wonder if Kat will show up as a surprise during her mother's show in NY. That would be amazing. Of course, it's the perfect time for NYC nightclubs to not allow vid cams anywhere near the premises.

Well, I'm not sure about this "take action" project--but chocolate might be a little risky for the obvious reason of melting (and hot weather in L.A. this time of year). I would think the carefully concentrated emails might be enough, even though I agree that something physical usually gets more attention. I just hope whatever it is that might be sent won't look suspicious to the staff there and they call in the bomb squads. There was a story in the press this last week of a local TV station back east sending a package of bobbleheads to the local sheriff's office as some kind of practical joke over something controversial they did (that I don't recall). When the package arrived, it looked too suspicious...and the bomb squad was called in to open it out of fear someone had it in for local law enforcement.

Not that this should discourage anybody--but think of the times we live in. The package would have to look benign if it's sent to the producer's offices. Otherwise, if it's a suspicious-looking large package, the mail sorters will set it aside and assume something strange is up.

I'd say sending a huge package of packing popcorn with one note inside representing our collective feelings would be the cheapest route. Someone would have to work up the draft like a legal document to represent everybody's reservations over this apparent outright snub. Then again, a note might just get tossed aside unless it's prominently displayed inside so it gets to the higher-ups.

And if it has to be Kit-Kat's--let's hope we don't hear a reply of: "Gimme a break....gimme a break...tear me off a piece of that Kit-Kat bar!"

Greg, you are crackin' me up!! No pun intended!!! LOL Let's all kick around ideas to find what will work. Thanks for your input. We have emails out to Peisha for her approval.

jimstraz@aol.com wrote the following. He's an enterainment publicist and also knows Kat's publicist. He can offer some good suggestions - "If we type up a posting with 3 addresses to send kit kats to, we will get our point across.  I can easily mail out three bars separately with a note to clive and Nigel.   We can post on websites and myspace boards to.  I will Also send the posting to Perez and other online bloggers.   Let's make some noise.   Jim.
