thinking of all the foofaraw that got kicked up over whether or not she'd be there... I'd really like to know the inside dope on this... and get ahold of whoever started that damn rumor... although I suppose it gave us something to talk about.

That reminds me of the song Let's Give 'Em Something to Talk About--how about... oh, American Idol? The night of my first power failure I was standing on a street corner talking to a neighbor I'd never met before and a local cop who was keeping people from driving down the wrong street, and guess what we were talking about? They were both Blakers but at least we all spoke the same language. Even with all the partisanship and bickering, it's amazing what a unifying factor a show like that can be.

I just listened to this . . . an Idol radio show personality interviewed Kat at Zootopia right before the Finale and she said she was not invited to Idol this season. He indicated she was pretty hurt over the whole thing but didn't make a big deal about it. Of course, she wouldn't. He was pretty irritated on her behalf.

Now I understand why Kat didn't make a statement on her websites regarding her whereabouts for the Finale. I'm sure this situation has been hurtful and a bit embarrassing as well since everybody expected her to be featured sometime during the season. Despite the disappointing outcome, I'm glad to finally have some answers.

Thanks Teilah. The info. was bad enough, but having to listen to that female DJ try and minimize the insult made it even worse! She was really irritating.

Well that was what was said that she wasnt invited but the one DJ was like it was no big deal and I am like WHAT!!!! NO BIG DEAL!!! I think she was more into Chris Daughtry and probably one of the ones who was very upset that Katharine beat out Chris that week!!!! Anyway thanks for the link for that!!!

She sounded like a horny, swooning teenage girl! Sooooooo nauseating!!!! This is my suggestion now. I think all Kat fans across the country should go out and buy one extra CD of Kat's to make up for the sales she would have had after appearing on the show this season! It's selling for $11.99 on Amazon now. They finally lowered the price (It's about time!) If fans don't want to buy it there just go and pick up up at the nearest store selling it. Let's show them Kat doesn't need AI anymore! What do you guys say? I'm fighting mad and I want to see her sales get boosted just like Elliott's, Taylor's and Chris' from being on the show. I think this would really mean the world to Kat and it would show her just how much her fans are willing to stick by her.

I agree with you NMore54, I have $70 gift card from Best Buy, I don't mind getting a couple of more Kat's CD. (please please this is just for those who want to do it ... no debate on this please)

But at the same time, I've been requesting "Love Story" to those stations that have played it at least once. I have good feeling that LS might be doing better than OI.

Thanks! Yes, no debate is necessary. Those that want to partake should and those that don't just won't. There's really no need to have arguements over the pros and cons. I just think she deserves the sales we all know she would have had if she had appeared on AI and this is one way of seeing she gets her due! I'll be buying my extra copies and I'll just give them as gifts to encourage new fans for Kat.

I am going to go get a few more and send them out as gifts to relatives and friends like I said once before let your anger and disgust for what happen fuel things in a new direction and this is a good direction and yes hit the radio stations and request!!!!!

I will buy a copy or two to give to my friends, because alot of them love Open Toes, Love Story & Dangerous! I have also been promoting her at a site that has more then 2,500 members...I have gotten about 7 people to become fans! It's called buzzjack.com if any of you are interested in seeing it! I will also be downloading LS a couple of times!
I find it so funny how people are so easy to judge people they don't know, but think they have the right to scrutinize others because those "others" are celebrities. From Britney Spears to Katharine McPhee radio hosts and magazines will always make unfair statements and allegations. I am fans of both Britney and Katharine, two totally different artists, but I find that whether you are a icon or a promising newcomer from a hit reality show, the punches and jabs will come and never stop...but I have news for the haters, they won't stop either so you can take your opinions and give them to people that care, because the fans are like, SO over it.
