They're keeping it under lock and key if she's gonna be there, it's like a Grey's Anatomy or Soprano's Season Finale script - everyones sworn to secrecy.  I still think she'll be there.  They had Elliott on yesterday to tie into the "Top 3" show, it was all part of the master plan.  It also gave Elliott a chance to say, "Hey, finishing 3rd isn't bad, look at me!"  What a transformation for Elliott  from last season, he looked great!

I'm waiting for this season's Cool Cat and our Kat to sing something, bring on McBlake!   Omg, I'd die if those two perform together. 

how upset will you be if she doesn't appear? i am kinda mixed. i will probably be upset, only because i am watching all these past contestants from season 5 perform on the show and wonder why is Kat not there singing that amazing Mary Jane song or some other song for that matter? then i try to think back and it brings back some ugly memories, like when i truly don't believe AI had her in the plan to be in the finale (example of this the Homecoming, eeeek, that was ugly).  then i was starting to believe in that ugly rumor of they wanted all male in the top 3. whatever the reason will be and she isn't asked to perform, i think will p*** me off and turn me off to that show forever long  it is left to run on tv. would that appear from AI like a slap in the face to not have the runner-up perform and yet you have the others from the TOP 10 perform? that would be so wrong and would demand to want to know why. and yet, just how important is it for her to be there? i guess Kat and the AI people would know the answer to that. well, we still have two more shows left, it's just a wait and see. i personally won't abandon my runner-up idol because of it and how it turns out.

yeah.... It seems strange to me because I come from a musical family and even the ones that don't like Katharine as much as I do, know full well that she has an album out.  What I find even stranger, are the people that go out and buy a CD, not because they like the music or the artist, but because one or more of their friends got the CD and were encouraged to do so as well.

I guess, whatever it takes for Katharine to make it long-term in the music business, is fine with me.  Now, how do you convince one of the types listed above, to buy Katharine's CD?  The sound or style of the CD won't be a concern to them.....because they are just buying a CD to be cool....  I think Kat is plenty cool, but how do you convince others what we already know?
