Who is going? Any Katpackers or McPhans that you know of? It would be cool to meet some of them in person. I want to document my whole experience at the concert and might need some help. So do any of you guys know who is going?

I know Mattsie from here will be attending. Also, I think Linda (Arden15) told me she'd be attending too. As for me...I decided not to make the trek to the Northern Province of the Starbucks Coffee Cup due to scheduling conflicts and the requirement to stay overnight in Seattle for a concert. If I had vacation time then, I probably would have gone up (considering I haven't been in Seattle for a number of years), but sorry not to join you guys this time around. That's my birthday weekend along with Mother's Day, which would have made it fun. Though mom would need the earplugs for the Hilary teenyboppers who can't control their screams.

Hopefully when Kat comes to Portland again (probably not 'til next time based on her itinerary this year)--you Seattleites can come on down here and we can say hi. Though there's other great venues Kat could play in Portland, the Rose Garden Arena is probably the best overall in order to ensure her huge crowds. The only option is the much smaller Arlene Schnitzer Hall. That place is pretty ritzy, however--massive diamond chandelier in the balcony and the works. Typically, they don't have pop stars perform there...depending on what kind of shows/songs they do or audiences they attract. I think Kat would be the exception, though, based on her classiness and typically attracting a mix of conservative audiences.

If you guys manage to meet up at the Space Needle restaurant and see Kat in there--you'll probably start a new group in the Kat Pack called the Mile High Kat Club.

I'm planning on it. I know video cameras are technically not allowed at the venue (which is pretty standard), but security is pretty lax on the rule and I have a camera that is very unassuming.

Hey --Yes, I am going to see Kat at the Seattle concert, and of course I'm excited since it is only a week from now!.--Hopefully I'll get to talk to her somehow, and I was really lucky to get to meet her at the Kimmel concert. Since she has many relatives here, maybe I will have something interesting to include in my review. At the idol concert I talked to two people who knew Peisha's sister.    Linda

Greg -Taylor has a concert in town the night before -maybe they could sing a duet at the Space Needle-----and you could make a special trip here to write the review for that one--------

I got your email, Linda, thanks. I'm not sure about the details of my passes yet so I'm not sure what I'll be doing that day exactly but I'll let you know when I find out. I want at least get a picture taken with other McPhans.

yes--Taylor will be doing a show in Seattle the night before Kat's concert. It's funny to me they are both going to be here the same weekend! Jammer- Let me know what your plans are. Only one week from today ---I am very excited!!

Don't let Taylor dance like a wild man up on top of the Space Needle--or I see it tipping over as it did in that TV movie a couple years back about The Big One (meaning earthquake).

It seems there's too many good things happening at this Seattle show that's making me regretful not being there now, Linda. You probably heard Peisha's going to be in the audience for Kat's show too. Although Kat just said she's flying Peisha up there. It doesn't necessarily mean she'll be in the audience, but I'd say it's a good bet. She was at the Kimmel concert. There's stories about people running into her in the Ladies Room at that (yes, the stories are from women ) and chatting it up with her for quite a while.

So, obviously, this is going to be sort of a family affair I think in more ways than one. A Kat Pack gathering--plus intermingling with Kat's extended family. I'm sure all her Washingtonian cousins will be ambling around in the audience too.

Well, there's such a thing that if I get some special invite--I'd just chuck everything here and hop a plane to Seattle at the 11th hour. At least a meet-up at the Space Needle restaurant would be fun. If the elevators go out on us, though, it means a rescue by helicopter--and a nice embellishment to the meeting. Or, we'd be the first people in history to have to sleep in the Space Needle restaurant overnight.  If Kat was there, we'd have all the previous Kat encounters beat.

Hey, Linda: GREAT. I hope you get to meet her for a longer time this time. The meetings were pretty fleeting the night of Kimmel. The venue will be packed and the concert will be excellent. Have fun!

They have added Jubal and the Ball Flaggs (Jubal will be in drag) to the Girls Night Out concert here Sunday May 13th, and SANJAYA will be the guest host for this group.

I think this concert could be quite interesting---and of course I can't wait to see KAT! ---Linda
