Katharine strutted out of a rehearsal studio in Burbank yesterday in a tight black tank, short shorts and platform open toed heels. While it's rumored that she was rehearsing with an African children's choir for an "American Idol" appearance with Josh Groban, TMZ contacted a FOX rep who denied that Kat will be on tonight's show. We'll see! - TMZ obviously she didn't sing w/ them, but people are thinking that she was there rehearsing a dance routine for a music video or tour routine, i guess we'll have to wait and see!

Hey, Tom--thanks for posting. This was posted over in Buzzzzzzzzz the other night...though the mystery has obviously deepened somewhat now out of sheer curiosity. We all know we'll never know (until whatever happens happens) if 19E has any say in the matter. I think they send out Men in Black to "take care" of people who enjoy giving out 'AI' spoilers. Interesting that Josh Groban put a message on Kat's MySpace about a month ago one night. He posted right near some of our craziness on there...and I wondered at the time if maybe they were secretly going to be performing together somewhere. Though I realize now that they just met at David Foster's charity events. Groban's one of the famous Foster Children...and one of the most successful so far. Kat's already met the entire inner circle in David Foster's world. Some people insinuated that Kat was just using the CBS Studios (where 'AI' is taped) to rehearse her upcoming tour shows. That may be--because those studios are close to her home. Trying to rent out other facilities was probably a chore too. So, the TMZ rumor may have started when they saw Kat just looking in on the rehearsals for Groban's performance with the African children's choir. All you can say to that is: TMZ needs glasses!!!

This was posted on April 24th and the rumor was that she was going to appear on that night so I think the rumor is pretty much debunked.
