I am sure my fellow McFilipinos have seen posters in Music 1 and Odyssey (these are music stores in the Philippines) which highlighted the albums of Chris and Kat (of course Taylor is with them too) Music 1 Poster is divided into three.. top portion is Chris with text "one of the best selling rock albums" or something to that effect. Middle part is Kat's picture with text "the idol we loved comes out with a unique sound of her own" - something like that. lol. It has been two weeks since I saw this so I don't remember that much. lol. And of course the bottom part is Taylor, just his picture. No text. lol Odyssey They have a poster will all three CDs.. Kat's CD is in the middle and the other two somewhat behind her CD. So they are really highlighting Kat, which is really good. I don't remember what the promo is but I think it has something to do with buying the Idol CDs and winning something. And oh yeah one more thing, I was in the gym last time.. I was running and I almost fell off the treadmill when I heard the intro of Open Toes. I was so proud. lol. It wasn't the radio, they have a playlist of their own so they managed to include Open Toes! Yay! I am hoping for the other songs to be included. I might give them the Over It remixes or something as they are just playing uptempo songs. lol

mcphee is hot in the philippines.....OVER IT is being played in a regular basis in one of the biggest malls here. i can't wait for her new single....Over It already peaked at #1, meaning already on its way down. we need a new single!!!! hopefully it's going to be NEGLECTED, OPEN TOES or NOT UR GIRL.

I guess all this worldwide activity doesn't count in most rating systems because they only consider the USA. At least that's what I was told. Seems odd to me, since I know so little about it. A listen is a listen and a sale is a sale. Has anyone ever actually explained how all this works? And why stuff like remixes doesn't count the same way when it's basically the same song.

I wonder if international fans can access vh1 website and vote. That would definitely help her to stay on top and will have domino effect on her sales and popularity. Can any international fan answer this?
