She cried when she made it through the audition, she is always nervous, she cared about the girl that didn't make it thro' the audition, she loves animals! She can't help being beautiful, nor choose if her family should be wealthy. She fought her way thro the entire competition and earned ur love & support!

Everyday I realize that kat is the best american idol contestant in all seasons, i mean, she is perfect: talented, beautiful, a great person and sooooooooooooooooooooo on.

Wealthy beautiful and talented is just kind of average in So Cal, so I guess it fails to impress the locals.
I don't mind the beautiful and talented part, but I take umbridge to the wealthy part. I think my family is probably just as "wealthy" as Kat's, and here in NJ it's just considered "upper middle class". When I think wealthy, I think limos, servants, yachts, jets, diamonds, furs, yada, yada yada. Not suburban homes and SUVs.

She is totally deserving-she is the BEST ever on AI in any season. All you have to do is look at her sweet smile and hear her voice of an Angel and see what a beautiful soul she has. Her Karma is extremely good this lifetime (not to get too philosophical) so she must have done many things right long before we had the great good fortune to hear her beautiful voice and see her beautiful face. Go Kat-we all love you and are behind you no matter what.

She is definitely not THAT wealthy as people think. I'd say her family is above average, which is the majority of people in LA. A million dollar house in LA is considered decent only. Not even luxurious. The haters using this as an excuse to bash just show how ignorant they are in regards to LA living condition.

I agree.  I immediately knew she was the best singer in the competition this year as soon as I heard her, and therefore believe she should win.  I thought that from the very beginning last year with Carrie too.  Hopefully I'll be right in my "prediction" for the 2nd year in a row!

Ok....I'm going to take them one by one.

Talented-If she didn't have talent, then I wouldn't want her to win.  I mean, if she just went up there and sang like crud, she wouldn't be in the top 2.  Duh!

Beautiful-So what?  Suggesting that she shouldn't win because she is pretty is just garbage.  It's garbage that comes from people who have issues with their own appearence, and it has nothing to do with Kat herself.  It's just people judging.

Wealthy-If she has money or her family has money (I did notice that they had a nice house), that shouldn't effect how people view her on idol.  People say the same about Sasha Cohen (Olympic Silver Medalist in Figure Skating).  Honestly, I don't see what their backgrounds haveto do with singing and skating.  If she were willing to sit there and be all "I have $$$, I don't have to work or try to get better at anything" then I would think that was bad.  But honestly, Idol isn't a "who deserves the money" contest.  Its a "who's the best singer/performer" contest, and Kat is both.

People need to remember what the contest is about, IMO.

For GOD sake..i think Kath deserves it. She is not always perfect. Judges sometime give her a very nasty comment. But she still stand though. And I know, listen to nasty comment is very hard ( experience it myself ). So go kath.

I think she is the most deserving. She has worked so hard since she was a very young girl and she has the best voice/ballads. She is definately my role model!  She does connect with the public because babysitting and returaunt...you definately have to be friendly/outgoing/nice with people/kids and you really have to love being with people or being a people person.  She has really been through the ups and downs with the judges which is really hard. (and shes done the BEST job every week...judges are just crazy sometimes! )
