This is what, the third or fourth concert announced? It makes me wonder about whether there's going to be a 'normal' tour, or maybe just a bunch of these kind of large-group shows accross the country.

April 14th - Canadian Idol

April 27th - Mix Fest - San Antonio

May 13th - Girls Night Out - Seattle

May 18th - Zootopia - N.Y.

May 19th - KISS

May 24th - Star Party, Minneapolis

June 2nd - Starfest - Atlanta

June 9th - Endfest - Sacramento

June 10th - Red, White, and Boom - K.C.

So this Seattle show is just Fergie, Katharine, Hilary Duff and Lily Allen?  Wow, she'll get to do quite a few songs then.  OK, we'll concede Fergie is the headliner.  Who's #2?  Katharine or Hilary?  I don't think Lily Allen is as well known in the U.S. quite yet despite her selling more albums than Kat since the initial rush.

Thanks for the correction, Joe.  I actually stole that list from someone else cuz I was too lazy to look em all up and I hadn't written them down.

Although Fergie is the hottest right now, at least as far as airplay, Duf has sold something like 13 million albums, but that's probably mostly to a younger audience than what's expected at this concert.  I imagine Fergie would close, preceeded by Hilary.  Who opens between Kat and Lily is anyone's guess.

I was SO EXCITED yesterday morning when they annnounced on the radio about Kat coming here for this event! WooooooooooooooT! I called the station this morning, and they said no details yet on how many songs each would be singing etc.

I'd go up to Seattle to see this--though I don't want to get tinnitus from the screaming Hilary Duff teenybops.

Thanks for the news about that. And this show is only two days after my birthday (yes, my birthday actually fell, ironically, on Mother's Day)--which would make a great birthday gift. Though I really can't make any commitments to that right now not always knowing what my schedule will allow. That's the risk of taking out-of-town trips to go see a favorite artist. It's why I always stick with Portland shows. Those I can usually make while still being able to go home in the same night. With Seattle, you'd have to stay the night.

Anyway, this is a pretty good lineup nonetheless. It'll also bring out a fairly diverse audience ("Kat fan, meet the screaming Hilary teenbopper fan, the drooling male Fergie fan and the similar Lily Allen fan."  )--despite most of them probably leaving after their respective favorite finishes performing.

I'm just trying to figure out how many songs Kat would sing at this within those two (or would it be three?) hours. I'd guess it'll be similar to what you guys saw down in L.A. for the Jimmy Kimmel show. That means approx. four or five songs with an encore.

Now, if this same thing comes to Portland (and it seems only exclusive to Seattle)--I'll definitely go. I'd rather see Kat on a bill with Daughtry, however, than with these other female performers. I suppose Fergie would be my favorite outside of Kat--because she's for more mature tastes. And seeing Kat in a photo with Fergie, Hilary and Lily will be interesting. It's sounding like Kat and Fergie could become good friends, which means an inevitable duet someday.

Movie actors like Paul Newman, Jimmy Stewart, Humphrey Bogart, Katharine Hepburn, Lauren Bacall and Bette Davis make me want to live in the era they lived but I could have been just as inspired even now while I watch their work in films.

Is anyone going to the Minneapolis concert? Or do you know how to get tickets? I've looked everywhere that I can think of, and I can't find anything on it, except for what's in this thread!
